Absolutely the worst lunch meal I have ever had. Ordered the Fish and Chips special with Veggie Beef soup. The soup was a bowl of broth with a few anemic looking cubes of beef, loaded with potatoes and what looked like onions and celery. After a long wait the main course consisted of heavily battered tasteless fish, fries that were almost hard, not crispy and cold. All this for $20. The lunch time crowd was around a 1/2 dozen people at most. This tells it all. What a shame ,this place used to have a great rep. Don't either your time or money

I visited recently with a work colleague! We had never been so decided to try this place out. It doesn’t look like much from the outside. But once you walk through the front door, you’re transported back in time. It’s a well kept, yet small diner. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food we had was delicious. There was lots of it also! I can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been coming to the Deerhead since 2017. The food and hospitality is amazing ? It reminds me of my grandparents truck stop back east and gives a sense of nostalgia. Will always 100% recommend this lovely little establishment!
