“My daily source of smiles and a great greeting“
“From the moment you step out of your vehicle you are greeted with a warm smoky hug from the onsite meat smoker!
You then proceed into a very unassuming small grocery/deli. A good selection of European fair from fresh to frozen and canned to jarred.
The deli counter has solid selection of in-house made sausage & meats which all looked mouth watering. Cheese selection was a little small however everything did look fresh in the display counter.
My purpose was to try the sandwiches I have been reading about. I ordered a cold cut with everything on it. All sandwiches are made to order and the meat is cut to order as well.
With great anticipation my sandwich was finally done and for only $9 I scampered to my car to see what all the fuss was about.
The fuss was 100% justified! The quality of meat and smokey flavour hit every taste bud point. Just enough mustard and mayo, but seemed like more mustard which is perfect because I LOVE mustard on my sando’s. (FYI, the mustard was very delicious)
Then, a generous layer of creamy white cheese and topped with a subtle and not overly pickled pickle.
If you want a sando that is bang for your buck, this place will hit it every time! I would honestly pay more, that is just how good the smoked meat combined with the other toppings made for an unforgettable sando experience!

“Just left the store with very bad feeling. Wanted to buy almost 2 lb of red fish and the deli ladies first stated fish cannot be sliced (we always get it sliced) and then refuses to give us fresh fish and wanted to give two pieces that were there not looking fresh. Needless to say we just left. Don’t know what happened to their service - it used to be good. This felt like I was back in USSR in 1990s... won’t be back for long time“

“Great. Lots of fresh options, rotated often.
The only negative thing I'll say (Not enough to warrant less than 5 stars) is they used to make their rice krispie squares in house. They've changed to an outside vendor. The ones made in house were 10x better. I miss them and hope they might change it back someday. Everything else is great.“
“This place is incredibly authentic. It's a real hole in the wall spot for Korean banchan. The soup hits just right, not too salty, with the perfect amount of spice. I can't believe it took me this long to find this gem. If you're craving real Korean food that isn't oversalted, you’ve got to check this place out.“

The display is well kept and easy to see all the ingredients and if you’re looking lost (like I was haha) she’ll happily walk you through your order. I ordered a hot Italian on ciabatta and it was phenomenal. The ingredients are very fresh and sliced as needed. There is no set menu so you can basically order what you’d like and customize it how you prefer. For drinks she has a wide selection from San Pellegrino, to pop and even energy drinks!
The perfect place to stop in for a sandwich on a hot day and to have a good conversation with the owner 😊“
“Amazing food and very good price!I took my car for an oil change today at East Side Dodge and decided to try the deli right beside parts.I was greeted by Elza who provided me with many suggestions and answered all my questions.I decided to go with the steak poutine and boy, was that the best poutine I've ever ate?!Lots of cheese, crispy fries and delicious gravy with tender steak on top!The portions are quite large so be prepared to take home some left overs !My poutine was only $6 and everything on the menu was under $10!I will definitely be back!
