Delicious dumplings in a great little hole-in-the-wall shop. This is not a place to go if you are in a hurry. It's a one person operation with limited cooking space. You will be waiting a bit for your food. But it's tasty and the lady working was super friendly. We got the half family meal and it was a lunch for two adults that left us with full bellies in need of a good nap. I will be making it a point to return every single time I'm in the area.

These are the ultimate in comfort food dumplings. Big, chewy tasty little pillows of yum!! The staff member was friendly and informative and it was a pleasure having a chat with him. I found Deng Dumplings on TikTok and I’ll definitely be back. Wanted to share photo of dumplings but couldn’t stop eating them.

The steamed pork and beef dumplings were fantastic, great flavor in both fillings before even adding the spectacular house vinegar or even better chilli oil!
Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a tasty treat for yourself.

Ordered the steamed pork dumplings and the dumplings in soup. I liked the dumplings in soup, however the steamed pork dumplings the dough was a bit thick.

Astoria Lies
If you’re Asian/ Chinese, you will know it’s not the proper flavour. I was surprised that for a well known, viral restaurant that the dumplings are nowhere near authentic and priced highly. Pretty sure I know where they buy their dumplings because I buy them in bulk for a fraction of the price down a few blocks from here….the outside is so thick it’s mostly carbs and there isn’t an authentic flavour of meat filling.
