Denny's in Calgary

“Normally the service here is really good (especially from Mandy or Veronica) but whenever we get served from one guy (I think his name is Bright) he’s always rushing us and he never seems to be in a good mood. If it was only one time I understand as people can have off days but every time he serves us it’s always subpar.“

“Food was good, the server was friendly, she did a great job at upselling my order and even convinced me to add a juice and a side of fruit to my order. After that point the experience fell apart. I had ordered an apple juice, she had delivered an Orange juice. Not a big deal. The side of fruit never came.
But the time she returned to check on my meal she delivered the bill. I asked where she charged me for the apple juice and the side of fruit. I asked her to remove the fruit since it was not delivered and told her I had received the wrong juice which I did not drink. She removed the side of fruit and the apple juice but managed to add a grapefruit juice.
By that time I just paid the bill provide a generous tip and left. I figured that she was having a difficult day and neither of us needed the extra stress.“

“I was greeted immediately and encouraged to sit anywhere I wanted. All of the staff including my waitress, Meenu, were happy and super friendly.with clients and their colleagues. I ordered my fave dish, the loaded veggie omelet with a fruit cup as a substitute. Meenu was so attentive and she checked to see if I needed anything and everything is ok just enough. She asked if I wanted whipped cream on my take out pecan pie and indicated that it may not be good to have it as it would melt and stay on the pie. I told her that I didn't want it and I appreciated her suggestion. Also, I learned most of the staff at Calgary Motel Village location have worked here for over 20 years with her and another waitress just over 30. Amazing yet unheard of!! I will definitely come back.

Vegetarian options: Got to have the loaded veggies omelet and can an egg white option. :)

Parking: Lots of it near the front door and behind the building.“

“I think this Denny's is one of the best locations in Calgary. Food and service is always impeccable. Came here for my birthday lunch and Nitin was my waiter. He was awesome. Smiled the whole time, brought us water quickly upon settling down and just heat customer service overall.
I enjoy coming to this location and will continually do so.“

“I have been to Denny’s many times, yet I must say Tod quickly became one of my favourite servers. His quick wit and attentive nature were excellent. I am not one for dessert, but was easily talked into it. Thanks for making me smile on a hard day Tod!!!“

“Packed for lunch hour and the service was excellent as usual food was really good ordered the salsa Benny's with a side of sausages disappointed as there was a fair bit of oil under my sausages but the rest of it was perfect that's why I can't get to my five star coffee was being poured faster than I could drink it Brian really enjoyed his lumberjack the favorite being the pancakes“

“It was a late night at 3am. Service was good, he was on top of our waters and drinks. We ordered a sampler, double cheeseburger with fries, mozzarella cheese sticks, breakfast poutine, and breakfast sandwiches. Food was ok, and the burgers looked good, however there were not much seasonings.“

“Always good food and service. This location is the best in Calgary. One time I ordered food online and when I was trying to leave to get it I had an issue and they were so understanding and made my order later in the day when I was able to get there and pick it up.“
