Think our waitress forgot we existed… I had to ask for our water then the lemon wedge then had to ask someone else for our coffee then another for my friends soup which he received pretty much the same time as our steak n eggs … the food was decent once it arrived but as for service -2⭐️⭐️…

Food was good, the server was friendly, she did a great job at upselling my order and even convinced me to add a juice and a side of fruit to my order. After that point the experience fell apart. I had ordered an apple juice, she had delivered an Orange juice. Not a big deal. The side of fruit never came. But the time she returned to check on my meal she delivered the bill. I asked where she charged me for the apple juice and the side of fruit. I asked her to remove the fruit since it was not delivered and told her I had received the wrong juice which I did not drink. She removed the side of fruit and the apple juice but managed to add a grapefruit juice. By that time I just paid the bill provide a generous tip and left. I figured that she was having a difficult day and neither of us needed the extra stress.

Joanne at Denny's Macleod was an absolute delight. She was always checking in, made sure we had everything we needed, but wasn't overbearing!
The food was delicious! Meat was so tender and juicy and flavourful. Very friendly staff, especially the waitress Joanne. Very considerate and energetic and welcoming. Great at holding conversations too.
Parking: Sometimes it’s full but that’s understandable either way you will always find a parking space.
