This location excells on the level of food they put out. Even when I order take out my turkey club bread is still crispy by the time I get it home. Perfect amount of sauce and other items on the sandwich. The kitchen staff is great and the servers are always friendly and pack my food with care.

Diner Deluxe - Mahogany is a great spot for lunch with friends! While it can get a bit crowded, the large portions and delicious food make it worth the visit. The service is consistently excellent, with polite and friendly staff adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a spot to try if you’re in the area!

Editing this review, which I had previously posted as five stars. The food is still good, but to call their servers incompetent would still be too high of praise.

I will stress that the restaurant was NOT busy while we were there, and they seemed adequately staffed. We were seated with our child and everything was fine until our food was delivered. We asked for an extra plate to put food on for our child, the server said okay... and that was the last time we saw her. We waited to start our meals and she walked past us multiple time completely ignoring us. We had wanted to order a side of hollandaise, but again our server was nowhere to be found and could not be bothered to come check on us. We had empty coffee cups for our entire meal, even though seemingly every other table was getting constant refills (without even asking) while we were again ignored. At the end of the meal my husband had to go to the front to ask for to go containers, as by that point it was clear our server had no intention to return. We then just went to the counter to pay so we could just leave, where they tried to tell us we would have to wait for our server to bring our bill to pay (which is ridiculous, given she couldn't be bothered to bring anything else).

If management is reviewing this, the girl with the very long blonde hair and black glasses should be fired, as you are clearly paying ger to do nothing.

Very disappointed. Have been here many times and today my son( less then 2 ) threw up shortly after our food arrived.(he had not been sick before this) I cleaned up as much as I could with napkins and wet Wipes. Waitress brought over rags and said she would get a mop and never did. I paid my bill ( gave a good tip for the inconvenience) and left. My friends finished eating snd were met with rudness and hostility by the waitress cause I didn't clean the floor. Even though a mop was never brought out because apparently it would look bad? And it was not ok for me to leave to avoid it happening again and also to take care of my sick child. Needless to say my amazing friends cleaned up and left. So I will not be back. Thank you for embarrassing me more about the situation.

A while ago I had a bad experience at that restaurant. We usually go there with my family every weekend because the food is very good. I don't have any problems with the food, but the servers take advantage. The last time I went, the server got very angry because she said that the tip wasn't enough. She should have given more because she said that she didn't earn much and she wasn't going to take much for herself and that she had to pay for the others out of her pocket. I left a reasonable tip, which was fifteen percent. She said no, she wanted more and she insulted us in front of everyone. Everyone stared at us. It was very ugly. It was a very ugly experience. I won't even go back to that place. Her name is Robin.

Great spot . Great food. Great location. Great staff. Very very very loud. Some acoustic sound panels will fix all these issues. Check out 3 Gen Sarabin in Calgary ! They will hook you up.
