Overall okay I guess. Food quality was really good for the first two week and then slowly declined. There were still days with really good food though. Just not consistent good food.

Very bad quality food. Gave me gastrointestinal issues.

For the price we pay—thousands of dollars—you’d think they were flying in chefs. Instead, we get meals that taste like they were abandoned in a storage closet sometime during the last presidential administration.
Every plate feels like a dare. The vegetables look like they’ve given up on life, the meats are a guessing game you’re guaranteed to lose, and half the dishes smell like they’ve already expired before they hit the tray. Calling it “food” is generous. It’s more like a science experiment that escaped quality control and somehow ended up on a steam table.
The dining centre has achieved the impressive feat of making hunger seem like the better option. You walk in hopeful, you walk out questioning every decision that led you to this moment.

I lived in dorms for the first two years of university, so I had a meal plan both years. The quality of food is genuinely horrible, yeah there’s “options” but they were all bad. It got to the point I thought I had GI issues because I was constantly sick, and my stomach would always hurt; turns out after MANY tests, it was because of the junk I was eating (which was just the landing). When I went back home for holidays, I would always cook my own food knowing that The Landing wasn’t nourishing me properly (I was in a traditional dorm my first year- no kitchen), but if I needed cooked spaghetti for my pasta sauces, I’d always be denied or they’d make a scene embarrassing me (mind you I’m shy so of course I was being respectful asking, and they also knew of my stomach issues). There was one lady (I can’t remember her name unfortunately) but she was amazing, she told me it was okay to take pasta or soup back to my dorm especially since I’m using my own card- still I was denied. It’s now my third year, I’m in an apartment and buying my own groceries, and making my own food, and my stomach issues are nonexistent. I feel bad for everyone that has to eat this food, especially for the price you have to pay. Horrible experience and I’m so very happy I never have to eat that food ever again

Living in residence, I have been forced to pay thousands to eat here, and i am incredibly upset with the terrible quality and unbearable hygiene of the staff. I have been upset about the quality of this dining centre since i moved here, but recent events have forced me to write a review. First of all, there is one staff member who constantly reeks of sweat, and he constantly walks around the guest area. Yesterday the lady who was preparing my sandwich kept rubbing her runny nose of her arm as she was making my food. how unhygienic they are in public makes you wonder what they do in the back. The most pressing issue which was forced me to write this review was the salad i ate today. How do you mess up a salad??? it was an orzo salad with some onions, cucumber and cheese, and somehow it was the worst thing i think i have ever tasted. Immediately after putting it into my mouth there was the most foul taste i have ever experienced. It tastes like someone juiced their armpit into a bowl and proceeded to vomit into it. so terrible. I immediately spat it out but the taste was stuck in my mouth. I was so nauseas and disgusted I had to leave and i do not look forward whatsoever to returning, but i have no choice. This place is unacceptable and changes need to be made. along with the issues i have already described, there is hardly ever a high protein option, the food is always cheap carbs and almost always the same. The landing is also disgustingly over-priced, I cannot imagine how they justify charging university students $25 a day to eat their slop. please do not go here, and do not support this place. it is in the best interest of many for them to go out of business.

Food is great, we loved going here until this semester- they raised prices by 60%, which means we will no longer be going. Bring back $10 Fridays!
