I can’t say enough about how fantastic Donair Grill is under the new management. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the difference—the place feels more welcoming, cleaner, and full of energy. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home.
The food? Absolutely next-level. The donairs are perfectly seasoned, the meat is juicy and flavorful, and the sauces are made just right—creamy, tangy, and fresh. Portion sizes are generous, and everything tastes like it’s made with care. You can really tell the new management is focused on quality and customer satisfaction. Highly recommend—this is my new go-to spot!

We flew all the way from Toronto to visit relatives in Calgary and decided to check this place out. So we got ourselves a donair poutine and it was so good. What made it better was the sweet sauce on the side. I can say that this restaurant has the best sweet sauce of anywhere in Calgary. If you come here I highly recommend you trying their sweet sauce on your donair or shawarma. We also got ourselves a mixed shawarma and it was the best we ever had. The bread was also delicious. I definitely recommend coming to this place and it is much better than all the places I ate in Toronto.
