If there is an option - 0 star I would give 0 star. I had regular milk tea with brown sugar - 0% sugar and no ice. However, it still tastes much sweeter than regular sugar level. Pearls are not chewy at all. Some are even still a little bit stiff. Don’t waste your time and money here. It is unbelievably disappointing.

The best bubble tea in calgary

A personal fav. No notes, just good all around.

Strawberry smoothie - it does taste like the smoothie was made from strawberry syrup.

It's pretty good but they definitely lack some consistency here. I rarely am lucky enough for my favorite Boba to ever taste the same despite I order it the same. They definitely seemed to care more when they first opened, and now they are just like---whatever.

Great variety of teas to choose from, floral, fragrant, earthy, and sweet - they have it all! The team member was attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our choices! The suggestion for the tiramisu dessert was also lovely! A great spot to come solo or visit with friends. Will be back again.

Busy place. Love the seasonal specials. Pricey but unique so still love it.

So their rewards cards just don’t mean anything anymore? Went in on March 6th and unfortunately met a very rude barista who refused to accept our rewards points cards that were gotten from uber eats over the past few months. Just given some random email address that will supposedly fix it.. really great customer service from a place I’ve ordered dozens of times from

The Tiramisu bubble tea here is amazing! It’s my go-to order. I also love how friendly the staff is every time I visit.

The shop feels cozy, and I appreciate the variety of drink options. Never disappoints!

I have been a long customer of DYAM and this was one of the bubble tea places I went to the most during COVID to the extent of going multiple times per week.

I often ordered the Jumbo Milk tea and the Jade Pearls with Fresh Mango Coconut but over time I started coming less and less because the quality of the drink was wildly inconsistent.

Sometimes the drink would be disgustingly sweet even when ordering half sweet, and the staff would argue with you if you asked for something like "quarter sweet". I do not blame the staff here, because it seems like it is part of the training. I have seen others ask for equally mundane modifications and be refused because of a pretentious requirement to uphold the integrity of their recipe.

The final failure that brought this review today is that DYAM had an issue where they had their stamp card stolen by some students, and as a response, they canceled all their customer loyalty cards. Moreover, they increased the number of drinks you need to purchase for the loyalty card from 10 to 12 drinks. A 20% increase.

Despite having a card with 16 stamps the management has decided to cancel 6 of the stamps and offer a single drink as compensation.

Frankly, I think this decision is stupid. The management was not sympathetic and simply repeated messages about economic hardship that I am not sympathetic to. By canceling their customers loyalty cards and making this move, they are essentially asking their more loyal customers to pay for this incident.

Between the inconsistent sweetness, the arguing with customers on trivial modifications, and the lack of respect for their long-standing customers. I have no reason to patronize their establishment anymore.

A further lack of value can be seen from the time I saw a sign at DYAM for a Jumbo fruit drink. I am used to paying about $13 for my milk tea here, but the employee warned me that this drink is around $18 and that they do not recommend ordering it.

I think it is very telling that even their own employees have explicitly told me not to order something on their menu because the value is so bad.

I went to this new spot, and so far I can say I like this location a lot more than Market Mall or 17th Ave. The staff was the sweetest girl I’ve ever met, I think her name was Athena. Though their drinks are a bit pricey, they are definitely worth the try!

They messed up all three of our drinks.

I ordered 30% sweet and it came out too sweet to drink...

Also my large boba tea was legitimately 75% boba pearls and the remainder was oat milk... Made the experience pretty not great.

Staff is polite.

I can't believe they will not honor old punch cards. This is disappointing why they have them in the first place.
