Walked in to place an order for take out. No one in restaurant eating. They took my order, reading back to me what I ordered and all was confirmed. Said to come back in 10 minutes. Food was ready when I returned. Smelled so good in the car on the way home. Thats where the good stops. Food was not at all what was expected. Won ton soup was a few won tons in chicken broth with a TONNE of noodles. Must have changed recipes because I LOVED their won ton soup in the past, but NOT this! Chicken chop suey was a bowl full of bean sprouts with what looked like boiled chicken and the water it was boiled in for the sauce. Beef noodles were yummy and saucy. Sauces for sweet and sour were not as sweet as others so that was nice. Not sure what has changed but the Douglas Peking IS NOT the same as it used to be. Will likely not be ordering again 😞

Hands down THE best Chinese Food in Calgary. I enjoyed our order last night so much! Our favourites are these amazing dishes. The Chicken Chow me , Ginger Beef, Lemon Chicken, #70, Spring Rolls, Dumplings, Wonton Soup, Chicken Fried Rice. What a treat!! We have only ever ordered it to be delivered so couldn’t rate the atmosphere only because I haven’t been to the restaurant yet. Very nice people who answer the phone and delivered it. Highly recommend!!

By FAR the best quality and tasting Chinese food in all south Calgary, probably all of Calgary (I’ve never tried Chinese restaurants in the north). Food is all top quality, the wonton soup has large pieces of meat, as does the beef and broccoli, chicken balls, not overly salted, the fried rice is also amazing, Top notch fresh ingested.. Price Is fair, and servings are HUGE, dinner for 10 was dinner for $15 easy, way cheaper and way better than GB express. By the Tim all the meals were served out, with leftovers, around $10/per for big eaters. I’ve been going here 10 yrs, tried many other places, i always regretted it.
Had my lunch delivered and all was perfect, on time, very hot and really good! Thank you!!!

Picked up a combo for 1. Didn't have menu, the gentleman that answered my call was very friendly and offered the special with options. Food tasted excellent! Very fresh. Had pork fried rice, mixed veggies and sweet and sour chicken. Combo came with spring roll and soup. Large serving.
