Ordered a hit dog to go with fries. Order was placed ahead of 4 other customers, they all received there items ahead of me. 20 minutes in total waiting for my order. Very slow service.

I tipped 20% on top of my meal..... My order was missing items and the ones I got were awful. Why does the burrito taste like mayo and onions and nothing else.....? ....the fish tacos looked like they were made in an alley out of leftovers. Who puts mayo in a burrito what's happening here? Terrible experience

Food was average at best, Buffalo chicken had no spiciness at all. Wife seemed to enjoy hers, although she certainly didn't say much about it. Better authentic Mexican food 5 blocks away at Sambores. The biggest reason for the poor rating is they forgot some of my food. I order a combo for take out and they didn't give me my poutine. Never going back!

We ordered 4 fish tacos from the Spruce Gove, AB location. They came to us jammed full of dry old cabbage and absolutely no sauce or seasoning. The fish was cold and tasteless and resembled the texture of sawdust. On top of that, the packaging was absolutely horrible and it looked as if it was tossed into the box . This was really disappointing as we have ordered from them plenty of times and the tacos are normally amazing. I understand sometimes people are off but this was unacceptable and not edible.

Seriously the best fish taco and shrimp tacos my boyfriend and I have had in a long time! Service was really kind even though they seemed slammed.

I had tacos there last week and absolutely fell in love with their Shrimp Tacos. I will be back many more times.

Very good fish and chips. Coleslaw is just the best here. I've been here before and sometimes quite the wait but today no line up. Fries very crispy. I also love the no straw policy.

Stopped by this place when we were in Banff to try the poutine. The pro of this place is that it has more than just the classic poutine, which you can get at a lot of other places. Their other flavors like Mexican, Pierogy, etc sounded interesting. Definitely a great place to try poutine for the first time as you can get a taco and mini poutine combo. Their tacos were also very good. And they have a couple beyond meat options. Worth the visit!

Oh my GOD!!! I've given some other 5 star reviews, but this... should have bonus stars! We ordered - then we ate three more after we were full it was so ridiculously good! Better than Cabo! Better than Earls, Joeys, worth driving across town. #1 Mango Shrimp Taco #2 Pork Banh-Mi #3 Baha Fish #4 Buffalo Chicken #5 Perogy Poutine Not really fair to rank them though because any one of them is a 10+. So if you prefer a certain flavor pick that one. The pork was the biggest surprise in how much better it was than something like Mucho Burrito.

The word on the street is this is the place to eat. They have a few different taco and poutine options. Tried the Mexican poutine and the Perogy poutine, both we're good and pretty filling for the size. Tried the buffalo chicken taco, it was good but nothing more than some breaded chicken tossed in franks hot sauce. Would go back for their Mexican poutine.

This location was far superior prior to the rebranding (it used to be an Joey's Urban). The rebranding impacted the portion sizes, prices, and food quality, severely. The portion sizes have shrunk considerably, one example being that the largest poutine size is hardly large, and comparatively looks like a medium. The Poutines are considerably more expensive and their toonie Tuesday's are now $2.50. If the food had remained the quality it was, I wouldn't be bothered but the quality has bombed. Their poutine is extremely salty, as in, it starts to burn your mouth after a while. The fries are aren't crunchy but almost rock hard by how overfried they are, and their very cheap with their curds and gravy. I'm astonished by the decrease in quality but increase in price. I wouldn't spend your money here unless your eating on a deal day.

I attended an event at StrEATS to check out the menu. I tried the buffalo chicken Poutine and both types of Bao Buns. Both were delicious and very filling, I had a regular Poutine but the mini size would be a great option for next time. Yum! Looking forward to returning.

Figured I should write a review since I've been here 3 times in the past 4 days. (I suggested to my boss that we go here while traveling and he decided he loved it and wanted to go back twice more in the same week lol - he liked the beef burrito.) This place is pretty good and VERY fresh. It is actually one of the healthier things I ate while traveling this week. I usually go for the fish taco and the crispy shrimp taco. Kinda wish I would have branched out and gone for the mango shrimp taco as well. I love that you can get tacos in lettuce wraps, for a little extra veg and less carb. PSA - these need to be eaten with a fork though, as they do not skimp on their yummy fish taco sauce :) It seems like everything is made/fried fresh to order, so in my opinion , the few extra minutes wait is worth it. I have also tried the perogi and buffalo chicken poutines. Both were great, but the buffalo chkn was AMAZING (I am obsessed with all things buffalo). Still dreaming about that one / thinking about how i can recreate it at home. Can't wait to come back here during my next trip to Calgary.

Streats is in the same location as Joey's Urban was previously, has the same decor and the same menu -- with a few additions. For fans of Joey's Urban, the good news is that it is even better than it used to be. It has the same menu (with a few additions) but the fries are better and everything is generally less oily. Prices are still fair and the place is definitely cleaner than before. In spite of the name change, this is still my favourite fish and chips place in southwest Calgary.
