I am familiar with Earls, having been to a number of their locations in Alberta. For the most part, the menu is mainstream and the food is honest. As of the last couple of years, I started by noticing inconsistencies with the food quality at Earls. Some locations is not as good as others. This was the case with the $23 burger I ordered at the Earls West Hills location. It was dry and overcooked, as if the cook got distracted and left the meat on the cooktop a bit long.Perhaps just a fluke. The [extra charge] yam fries, by contrast, were the star of the plate. The service was good. One point I am noticing in many restaurants, including Earls, is payment machines preset with an 18% tip. I am happy to give a tip for good service but this is starting to feel like a tax.Overall, the experience was not horrible, the staff was nice, the place was clean, but the food was not up to expectations for me

I've given this location so many chances to bounce back but it keeps sliding further and further into poor quality. Service was terrible, not sure if they were understaffed or what was going on, but I think we saw the server twice the whole hour we were there. The food came out lukewarm and haphazardly thrown together, no apology or explanation when it was pointed out to another staff member (server nowhere to be found). For the cost it's just really bad value. Be better Earls! Your other Calgary locations are far higher quality!

Nice ambiance, great service and good quality food. Our server was Chris and he was very attentive and always checking for our needs. It was a pretty busy night so the food took around 30 minutes to come, however, appetizer came in 10 minutes which was pretty good. Three persons bill was $161 which included one starter, meal, three soft drinks, one cheese cake and 18% gratuity..so I would say average $50 a person.Starter crispy chicken tender was good crispy as name suggests. My daughter and I had Bigger Better Burger as we both are burgers enthusiasts. Bun was great quality, however, the patty was a little dry and the edges were burnt so not sure if it was usually how they make it but it was tasty. It was also on salty side and salt level was also inconsistent too; so if you like an extra salty patty then this is your burger. I will it rate 7 out of 10.My son got Cajun blackened Sirloin steak medium rare which comes with mashed potatoes, some vegetables and crispy onions. It was on the salty side too and did not taste much of Cajun and just pepper and salt, however, my son liked it.Our favourite part was the cheesecake. The presentation was very nice although we had already cut it before taking a picture. It came with fresh berries, berry sauce, cream, and a cookie which were a great combination. The cheesecake was very soft and delicious. I would rate this a 10/10. Enjoy ?

Staff was very friendly and personable.Willing to accomodate, let us know about deals. Was able to be seated right away with a great view of the pizza oven. Was a great watching pizza be hand tossed and cooked in the open oven.Would highly recommend.

Worst service I’ve had at Earls…or anywhere. They need to hire people who actually want to work and are attentive to their customers. As a server, tend to your customers. I sat down for 15 mins before someone came to ask if I needed anything. Server also leaves after one person orders without asking the rest of the group if they need anything. She turned around three times to leave…we had to stop her cause the rest of us wanted to order… it’s like she didn’t want to take our orders..why even bother coming to work… then another girl came and took our order again…Our server maybe came like 4 times. Once to order our drinks, once to bring us our drinks then take our food order, once to bring our food, then 2mins later again to ask how the food was. I e had to find her to get another drink orders in. Not impressed…

Went last night for their supposedly wing night special. Huge disappointment, $3 off their regular price of $19.50, not only did they have just two flavors, either hot or salt and pepper, but all we got was nine small wings. The wings were blah, no flavour at all. The only good thing was all of their bottled of wine were half price. Don’t think I’ll be ever going there on a Wednesday night.

Very accommodating to our family of two young kids. There was someone who worked there walking around in a blue dress and my daughter thought she was a princess and asked to meet her, the response was very friendly and warm and made my daughter very happy. Also they loved the big metal pig sculpture a lot. Food was great, no complaints there at all, best Earl's dining experience I've ever had.

We went here last Sunday. A friend of mine told me about the YYC food expo. I checked it out and saw Earls restaurants are on the list. Since this is the closest Earl to our place, we decided to try it out. I called for a reservation and they accommodated us for lunch.I highly recommend this restaurant. It's a total package. From ambiance , service, and most especially, the food. Our server, sorry I forgot his name, is excellent as well. We tried 2 menus. For myself, I tried their Thai bowl ( if I am correct), and this dish? OMG, I love it! My spouse, on the other hand, ordered truffle tortellini, and she really enjoyed it.The servings of their food are quite big too.I highly recommend this restaurant. It is located in Westhills.Photos of the food that we ordered. From starters to main course and dessert. We enjoyed their drinks as well too! ?

Everything was great! I had a glass of the house wine and the salmon. Delicious.Service was wonderful. Casual, professional, natural. The atmosphere was loud, but it was 7 pm. on a Thursday evening. So, as expected. Everything was clean and pleasing to the eye. No complaints!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options are available. The salmon dinner, for example.

The service and atmosphere was good. But I was not impressed at all by my food. When you ask for a burger from a presumably good restaurant, you expect a burger, well above average quality you get in a fast food. But honestly, Carl Juniors burgers are by far better than what I had here. And then there is a much higher price tag in Earls, and the expectation of a minimum 18% tip.when you add all up, I believe a 3-Star is as high as I can rate Earls.
