I’m quite picky with my food but I enjoy coming here with my friends and family. Food is always fresh and not too salty or sweet. I always get the duck and Mapa Tofu when I visit!

Stopped in by chance of it BM one of the only late night spots & let me tell you I will be back. Everything was delicious & the portions were amazing. This is a must stop spot & one of Calgary's hidden gems. 🍻

I have been driving by this restaurant on 16th Ave. for the last 30 years and it’s the first time I tried it very excitedly - And I was so disappointed, my goodness!! It even has great reviews!!
Yikes - Maybe it was just an off night and closer to midnight that’s why the food wasn’t fresh?
And there was no soya sauce, which I’ve almost always gotten for free At the 35 other Chinese restaurants I’ve been to in Calgary since 1986.
The best thing about their food was their chilli sauce no joke!!!
Maybe if I had not splurged $70 I would feel better about this mediocre food lol !!!!
I was expecting bells and whistles with flying colours - Nothing in the same vicinity!! Too bad!!!

It's always packed with Chinese people, so I imagine the authentic dishes are very good. However I ordered ginger chicken for take out last night, and I've been running to the toilet every 1-2 hours this morning. 4th trip already. MSG poisoning.

open late, friendly service, and easily the best Chinese restaurant in Calgary. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served hot, and the portions are generous. The staff are welcoming and make you feel comfortable every time you visit. Perfect spot for a late dinner or casual night out. Highly recommend!

I drove 30 minutes in extremely bad road and weather conditions and paid $150 for my order, only to get home and realize they forgot the sauce and vegetables. The duck wrap is basically inedible without it. When I called to explain, they told me I had to drive all the way back to pick it up. On top of that, the man I spoke to was incredibly rude—he talked over me while I was trying to explain the situation and showed no concern at all. After all that inconvenience, he said he would refund me only $10. This experience was beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable. I do not support this business and would not recommend it to anyone.

Very friendly and helpful staffs and wonderful Canton style food! Our family wasn't too familiar with Chinese dishes and the staffs were so helpful with finding the right dish for us. The food was not too oily and not too harshly seasoned. Parking is easy to find and register. They even helped us by offering extra dishes and fork when we were cutting the cake for our dad's bday

We’ve been here several times and already knew the food was great — we just didn’t realize it had become such a social-media famous spot! Reservations are highly recommended since it can get quite busy. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The owner even recommended a few dishes to us during a previous visit when it was less crowded, which was a nice touch. Parking can be a bit tricky since it’s right on 16 Ave, but the restaurant stays open quite late — a rare find in Calgary. Definitely worth trying!
