We’ve been here several times and already knew the food was great — we just didn’t realize it had become such a social-media famous spot! Reservations are highly recommended since it can get quite busy. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The owner even recommended a few dishes to us during a previous visit when it was less crowded, which was a nice touch. Parking can be a bit tricky since it’s right on 16 Ave, but the restaurant stays open quite late — a rare find in Calgary. Definitely worth trying!

Eastern Fortune Restaurant is a true hidden gem in Calgary! The food is authentic, flavorful, and always fresh — every dish comes out hot and perfectly cooked. The dinner menu both have amazing variety, with generous portions and great value for the price.
The staff are friendly and attentive, and the restaurant has that warm, welcoming family-run vibe that makes you feel right at home. It’s become one of my go-to spots for delicious Chinese food in the city.
