It is a typical Chinese restaurant where food taste is paramount and service and atmosphere are secondary, hence my review scores.Having said that, if you are craving for a traditional late night snack Hong Kong style, this is my go-to place. You cannot go wrong with traditionally style congee, paired with deep fried tofu and some black bean sauce clams. The food are as Hong Kong style late night snack as you can find here and in Hong Kong. I will definitely return again after a late night movie.Parking is a huge concern here as the parking lot is really tiny for such a popular restaurant. Yes, it is very likely you cannot find a parking spot at 11:00PM! Besides there is no parking along the 16th Ave, consider carpooling.

Spent $100 and asked for a side of sauce, they were so bloody cheap they wouldn’t give me any sweet and sour sauce. This is the worst food I’ve ever tasted in my life time of eating chinese.don’t eat here! My dog wouldn’t even eat it, terrible service and I would never recommend anyone eat here it’s not fit for human consumption. I do t recommend a single dish, there are so many other places to eat Chinese stay away from this one.I see all the Asian community thinks this is authentic and good. This would be all of their friends talking here as there is nothing authentic or good about this. So very disappointed.Four tiny dishes for $100 and refused to give me a little extra sauce I asked for. Typical cheap people.

Delicious Peking duck (order the day before), dumplings, pancakes, and spring rolls. Reserve a table; it's busy! Lovely staff!

This is the first time we’ve ordered from here and would rate it 3.5. We found the food to be a little bland and everything kinda blended together. Nothing stood out. With that being said, it doesn’t make you feel super heavy and lethargic afterwards. For 5 dishes we paid $107. The people were super friendly and accommodating with our shrimp allergy.

Very disappointing portion on the wonton soup. It is $9.5 per container which they only have 1 size. Every other place charges that for the large one, which is honestly what I assumed I was getting.Little to say after our appetizer we were still left hungry. It claims to serve one person which is far from accurate if you were just having the soup. ( maybe include a picture on skip so others don’t make this mistake!)I will say it tasted good though.

Great Southern Chinese style restaurant in Calgary with tasty food, friendly and fast service, and good portions for the price. The restaurant was clean and we were seated comfortably.Parking: Parking lot isn’t the biggest and can be busy during peak times.

Such a great place! We went after a live music show late at night and was served quickly and professionally. The food was so delicious and so fast! Our sever made a recommendation on the dumplings and he was right, delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

We always go for Chinese food on Christmas day. The restaurant we have been going to for the past 20 years closed down about a year or so ago. We were looking for a new restaurant for our annual Christmas dinner and decided to try Eastern Fortune restaurant . The family could not be happier and this will be our new go to restaurant. We ordered 11 different dishes and everyone was delicious and cooked to perfection. The salt and pepper seafood and salt and pepper chicken or both delicious. The ginger beef was amazing and we ordered two different noodle dishes that were also delicious. I ordered my favorite which is curried chicken and I was not disappointed. The service was outstanding and the staff are friendly and very nice. There were 11 of us and they kept our water glasses fold the entire time we were there. Very attentive. This will be our new go to restaurant for Chinese food.
