food was delicious, service ok for a busy mall, but the servings were way smaller. If you want real Edo Japan go to an Edo Japan and not an express mall kiyosk.

I've always ordered taro bubble tea in Edo, but today I tried it at Chinook Mall and had a good and fast transaction. When I left the mall, I wondered if I still had tapioca and was shocked to see these things at the bottom - hope it's not dust or something but it’s really kinda like that😶

Foods great and people are good.
Pay your staff more and curb the tip option. Ridiculous to ask for a tip and I have to go to the register to order, wait, get my food from the counter.
If anything, they should tip me for doing this stuff.
A tip to do basic work requirements is wild.

The older Lady who helped me was Extremely rude. Zero Customer Service skills whatsoever. I asked for three scoops of suave on my order. and I was given half full of a bowl with barely any meat and one scoop of sauce. when i confronted her about it she was very arrogant about the situation and argued with me that “this is how it’s always made.” I have been to edo many times, and even to this location and the food has never been like this before. She argued and argued and i said whatever and went to go sit down. I poked at my food a bit more and decided i wanted my money back. I did not eat any of it to mention. I went back to get my money back and she accused me of eating all the meat off the top and that half of the food was gone. I told her that was the reason why i tried to get it fixed in the first place. She accused me of “don’t do this to small businesses” “don’t steal from us” “what is wrong with you”. I was very embarrassed in front of everyone standing there, because she was screaming it across the whole food court. She gave me my money back by throwing it on the table. And i went home Hungry. I will NEVER be going back to this edo ever again. It so unfortunate that this experience has completely ruined my love for the food.

Very poor quality
I stopped by the Edo Japan fast-food establishment, and going to Calgary’s most popular mall, CF Chinook Centre, I was impressed. Edo Japan always delivers a great meal! This time, I ordered Sukiyaki Beef with just two Teriyaki sauce packets, paired with a regular pop, and it hit the spot. The beef was tender and packed with deep, savory flavor, and the Teriyaki sauce added just the right touch of sweetness. The pop was crisp and refreshin, exactly what I needed to round out the meal. On top of that, the restaurant was clean and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a solid lunch choice, I'll be coming back for more!

I have been coming to this location for 15 years but I have moved back to Vancouver and haven’t been to this store in 4 years and now it’s gone down hill there was a few ppl who use to work there they where awesome one was Rick and Chris plz get more ppl working there again because now it’s not a good place to eat

The best restaurant I ever visited, It makes so special because of the old lady whose really hospitable she assisted us throughout our stay. Also the food and the ambiance was really good! Thank you Edo japan 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 Will surely comeback soon!

I usually go to Edo at Chinook if I crave Japanese food. The quality of the food is superb, and their customer service is top-notch. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making sure you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. They’re quick to address any requests, and their willingness to ensure you have a great dining experience really stands out. It’s one of the reasons I keep going back!

I love the place it's clean, the foods are delicious and served hot. The staffs are accommodating specially the old lady she's friendly and nice. Highly recommended and I surely come back with my friends and family.

We had a great time at this place. Its very clean and relaxing . Service was very excellent. Staffs are very accomodating and helpful. Everyone was consistent with the good service. Food is GREAT !!!
