Shoutout to Egg & Spoon for the best brunch vibes! 🥂 The lemon ricotta and salmon were 10/10, but Rosie B truly stole the show. She’s incredibly kind and made us feel so at home. She even went above and beyond to help me fix a bogus parking ticket a week later. Talk about peace of mind! Definitely looking forward to my next brunch here!

I HAVE NOT HAD A BETTER BREAKFAST!!!!
Our server Amanda was very pleasant and professional and brought us some great regular coffee. My wife is a coffee snob and she gave it two thumbs up. The whole menu looks delicious but I will only speak to the avocado toast. IT WAS DIVINE!!! So many of their ingredients are house-made and this quality really shows up in the beautiful tastes and textures I experienced. I also had a side of their homemade pork belly which was like velvet and butter and all good things!!
They have a wide variety of special coffee and great small touches like the house made pickles, and chips, and perfectly seasoned potatoes.
You would be VERY hard-pressed to find a better breakfast in Calgary. I don't think you could.

Simple brunch options with quick service. Parking was crazy on a Saturday morning, and would recommend a reservation. The hashbrowns were 10/10!

We visited Egg & Spoon on Saturday as a family, and it was such a nice experience. The place has a warm, welcoming vibe—perfect for relaxed family time. The food was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and attentive, and they made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in.
And the star of the table: the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes — delicious, delicious, delicious. Soft, fluffy, perfectly balanced with citrusy freshness… absolutely unforgettable.
Another hidden gem for awesome gluten-free options — so many great choices, and everything tastes just as good as it looks.
It’s a great spot for weekend brunch with family or friends. We’ll be back for sure!

We were at Egg & Spoon this past weekend with a couple friends and it wasn't a great experience.
While I recognize that we were there at what has to be one of the busiest times of the week (11:30 on a Sunday), we were still disappointed with our visit.
We had a reservation but it took 25 minutes past our reservation to be seated. Time for the food to come out was also quite slow. It was slightly over an hour from our reservation time to actually receiving our food, so we were all quite hungry by that point.
Unfortunately, 3 of the 4 dishes we received didn't meet expectations. My sandwich was quite soggy on the bottom from having sat there before bringing it out to the table and my fries were also undercooked despite having ordered them specifically extra crispy.
All of the staff were friendly and professional, but I'd definitely recommend going at a less busy time to avoid extra waiting and undue stress on the kitchen.
Also make sure you register your car with the parking QR code, they were intense about issueing tickets.

Egg & Spoon is a great breakfast spot with delicious, well-made food and a welcoming vibe. I love the half-plate options, they’re perfect for keeping the meal light without sacrifice. Always a solid choice.

The staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was good, but our experience with the food on the day we visited was not too good. Maybe we ordered the wrong dish

Super cute place. The food was really good, as was the coffee. I had the breakfast bowl and it was delish. The server was great and made some recommendations and knew the menu well. Make sure you register for parking as they were issuing tickets, the hostess warned us immediately upon entering, which was great. There was lots of parking available. I also like that you can make reservations, makes it a lot easier than waiting around.
My only complaint becausey partner is hearing impaired, is the noise level is pretty high, but always a great stop and delicious food.

Great brunch spot for people with Celiac disease. Their chicken and waffles are amazing. Just a heads up: you definitely need a reservation if you go for brunch on the weekends.

The potatoes are so good!
Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich: it’s was very filling, the bacon is delicious. Great bun! 8/10
Huevos Rancheros Nachos: the chorizo crumble is excellent but there was so little. A bit too salty overall. 7/10
