Greg was absolutely amazing

We had a wonderful time here on Friday night. We showed up right before last call and were treated with nothing but kindness. The food was delicious and the drinks were great! Greg was excellent at his service. Also thank you to the kitchen staff! Coming back here asap! 1000 stars!

We’ve come here several times over the past five or six years. The seafood is consistently fresh and well prepared. The seafood gnocchi and jambalaya are favourites. There is also a wide selection of raw oysters from both east and west coasts. The prices are lower than at comparable restaurants. The decor is a bit tired but a hidden gem nonetheless.

STAY AWAY WORMS IN OYSTERS AND BAD SERVICE!!

I’d like to start by saying I’ve been dining at the embarcadero for over 5 years never have I had an experience as terrible as this. (Gregg) had brought a set of oysters to the table to which I noticed a MOVING slimy brown worm at the tip of the oyster, I understand shellfish sometimes have issues however I didn’t expect the response from our server( who btw is the manager apparently) which was “just remove the bad one” he then took the whole plate away and came back with the same plate with “that bad one” removed with another oyster, he then proceeded to tell me that it wasn’t a worm, instead just colouring from the outer edge of the oyster itself which was absolute bullcrap. To which I disagreed and told him to bring it back. He then brought back a different oyster with part of it hanging off the bottom to insinuate that was what is was, which is wrong. I know what I saw and it was moving.

Absolutely disgusting!! Terrible way to handle the situation by trying to hide it. Wouldn’t have been an issue if he would’ve just owned up to it and handled it like a professional.

This is just a heads up to people to share my experience and consider dining elsewhere.

They’ve lost me as a regular customer, I will not be going back there, instead will be spending hard earned money elsewhere that don’t treat customers in this manner!

Fresh Oyster, friendly service, will definitely come back again.

Nice spot for good food, well-priced oysters and great service.

Have been here a few times. Went last Saturday before the Roughnecks game. Food is always good. You can never go wrong with angel hair pasta with a lobster tail. One I always get 🙂. Make a reservation, as it can be busy, especially if there's something happening at the Saddledome the same night!

terrific dining experience, great food and value

Came for the oyster special (delicious!) but also ended getting the daily special: salmon with risotto. Everything tasted so good. Tender and perfect cooked! Service was great. Friendly and fast.

Amazing restaurant! I love coming here for a causal drink or a celebration. Every year I have my birthday party here with Tuxedo shirts and a large crowd, and they never fail to deliver in excellent food and service. My recommendation is come and try the oysters, great price and always fresh.

We come here for lunch about twice a month. Oakley always takes great care of us. The $1.50 oyster special can’t be beat! The oysters are always fresh and the food is delicious.

Highly recommended ask for Darcy. She was amazing.

Over cooked lobster and under cooked steak! Disappointing for the price. Asked for accessible seating, they took us up 2 flights of stairs. Bye
