Empress Palace Restaurant

This is our go-to takeout Chinese take-out restaurant. Is it the closest to us? No, but it is the best, and it's worth driving past those other places to get our food from here. The food is ready quickly, tasty, and consistent. We have been ordering from here for years, and it is one of my favourite places to order from in all of Calgary.

The absolute worst we've ever had...ordered $100 worth and nothing was edible...must have sat out for so long...either hard as rock or pure mush

Got delivery here a few times lately. No complaints. I want to go in on the weekend and try the buffet again. I tried it a few years ago and it was good.

Edit: I asked a few months ago and they don't do buffet anymore very sad

We love coming here as the food is totally delicious, hot, plentiful but find a place to park! It's too bad they don't have more parking. Seriously if they had better parking they would double their business. 3 times now we tried to go to eat and no place to park. That is disheartening

They are still adding GST to the bill even though the government declared it a GST holiday. Their food was meh. Makes sense why it’s mostly empty

We love coming here for the buffet on Sunday.... when they decide to have it open. The website says buffet every weekend, we will make the drive and almost every other weekend the buffet is closed for some reason.

Just gross, the black bean chicken was inedible, beef and broccoli pretty close too, ginger beef was debatable it was beef and flavourless.
Dumplings were barely ok...
Fried Rice was good

Barely at much of the delivery and threw it out (except the fried rice)
