Famoso Italian Pizzeria - Westhills

This restaurant needs to figure out how to clean their tables. I've been there many times and the tables are sticky -- very unpleasant The food is good, but eating at a table that feels dirty is a turn off. I think I'm done with this restaurant.

We were disappointed as we waited 40 minutes for our three pizzas which arrived not very hot. Services was slow and inattentive. Did not fill water or bring child's free dessert.

I understand but if I constantly come and ask for an order. The workers are confused that they have an order. And this means that the workers don't even know about it. They won't watch the tablet, they won't hear or see. Maybe it would be better to move it in front of the workers so that they would definitely see the order and not turn off the sound on the tablet. This happens constantly and not just once and then we won't wait a lot of unpaid time and the client will be hungry for a couple of hours

Very disappointed with the service at this restaurant. We arrived at 9:00 PM, but the waiter told us they were closed, even though their listed hours say they’re open until 10:00 PM. We’ve been here before and know for a fact that they operate until 10:00 PM. So does the staff just decide when they want to close? Very unprofessional and disrespectful to customers, definitely don’t recommend this place!”

Famoso Pizzaria is usually my first option when I want to have pizza . Unfortunately, the past few times I was there the pizza wasn’t as good as before. The cheese pizza and the shrimp pizza that I ordered were dry, with hardly any cheese and the cheese was not bubbling hot. I even ordered and paid for extra cheese. But it didn’t make any difference.

We made a reservation for Famoso for a date night on New Year's Eve, as we did not know how many people would be there on a night like that. We were kindly greeted at the door, and quickly realized the reservation was not necessary (there were 6 people in the restaurant). The server was friendly and prompt, and made suggestions according to our taste. We ordered appetizers and entrées based off his recommendations, and drink orders as well. A few minutes after making our drink orders, I went to the bar to change one of the appetizers, and saw a waitress grab her debit machine, a random pen, a piece of paper from her pocket, and her phone to send a text. This is important, because immediately after grabbing these items, without washing her hands, she grabbed 2 straws, by the tips, placed them in the glasses of our drinks, stirred them, and walked away. She might as well have rubbed the straws on the ground before placing them in the drinks. I was disgusted and asked our waiter to replace them, to which I received a confused look and a "why?". After explaining, he reluctantly replaced them. We ordered the prosciutto wrapped mozza balls and half ceasar salad for appetizers. The 3 mozza balls were absolutely drowned in tomato sauce, and was an adventure trying to fish them out. They were small, and very, very salty. The ceasar was also doused in dressing, making the lettuce soggy in short time. We ordered the Siciliana meat lover's pizza, with added arugula. The pizza was great and cooked well from the crust to 2/3 towards the center, but the middle 1/3 was really soggy and undercooked. I believe it was due to all the ingredients being haphazardly placed in the middle, with few ingredients being spread to the outer edges. It was underwhelming to say the least. Overall, the best part of the dining experience was notnthe food, but the waiter. The food left a lot to be desired, was overpriced, over dressed, and over salted. We will unfortunately not be coming back.

Famoso's food is ok. It is a place to bring your kids and enjoy a pizza at an affordable price.

The food is just not great. The kids love it because they can play with pizza dough but the actual quality of the food is below average

I'm general I like Famoso. This experience wasn't as great and mostly due to the food. Decided to not go with a pizza this time and had a wise guy sandwich and soup. Both tasted fine but the soup was warm and the it was a cold sandwich which admittedly I thought it would have been heated (which would have made it way better). For the price is I was a little disappointed. For reference, the Bambino Italian sandwich from ripe tomato is infinitely better and less money. Service staff were perfect so absolutely no complaints there. Stick to pizza

Went in Sunday for the first time to try the pizza. This is my honest feedback:
Service felt short-staffed; the food took more than 30 minutes.
Our waitress was nice, but she was handling too many things at once. Between restaurant orders and pick-up.
Pizza was okay, 2/5. For the price it doesn't justify the quality.
The kitchen did not cut our pizza right, we had to use our knives to cut the slices out. It felt like they served it on a rush.
The ingredients fall off the bread when you bite it. Onions were not cut right.
Restaurants booth seats were not comfortable, also they are peeling and could use some service. Decor feels outdated.
To me the food quality and service was the key experience. And it was dissapointing. I know I wont be coming back. I really hope they improve and take action from hearing people's feedback.

Visited again today for some brunch .. The restaurant was very clean and the food was fast to get out. My server Bella was incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back.
