I dined at Famous Noodles BBQ Café in March 2026 with my spouse, and wanted to share some feedback about our experience. The service we received was not what we expected. The server handed us the menus without any greeting. The ordered dishes were placed on our table randomly without care, which made the experience feel impersonal.

The waitress: ” What are you doing here? We are serving dinner set only, no soup noodles. What do you want?”
Me: “Maybe noodle?”
She: “No soup noodles here.”

The restaurant features a wide range of menu options and is known for its authentic Hong Kong style Chinese dishes, with popular items including BBQ duck noodle soup, beef noodles, and pork chop served with pineapple. Many enjoy the milk tea. Customers often praise the friendly service, especially from Mrs. Ying at reception, who is amazing and makes everyone feel welcome. The cafe is really close to the YYC Airport. Good taste, fresh ingredients, good portions and very reasonable prices, with dinner dishes about ~$20 each. However, it can get quite busy, so give yourself some time. Ordering milk tea can mean a wait, and congee is often not available.
