Courtyard is a casual and comfortable spot to meet with friends, with ample seating both inside and on the patio and a solid selection of bar food and alcoholic drinks. We visited frequently during hockey playoff season, and we love coming on Tuesdays for their $6 wings and happy hour specials.
Their selection of dry rubs and wet sauces for wings is extensive - the best in Calgary - and you can mix and match combinations of flavours. Our favourites are: honey & ghost pepper, honey & dill, cajun, maple bacon, and lemon pepper. The wings are consistently fried to perfection - crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Thursday rib night also offers similar selections for seasoning.
During our last visit, our server misunderstood our initial order, but she quickly corrected it. The happy hour burger with salad was the best we have had since coming here last year. For $10, it came with two juicy beef patties, fresh vegetables, and a splash of mayo. The salads are mediocre, and the quality can vary depending on the day.
A great spot to hit if you’re craving finger foods and wanting something easy and casual!

We just dined at the Courtyard Pub in Calgary and had a great experience. Our waitress, Tomaica, was friendly and attentive.
The food was delicious! The burgers, especially, were cooked to perfection. A big thanks to the kitchen staff for the tasty meal.

Honestly, i can't say anything bad at all! I guess they learned from the bad reviews. A few weeks ago i came here for the first time, eveything was fine... nobody ignored me, the service was fast...
Next time, the same thing! 3 time, same. 4 time, same.
They care about you, nobody ignores you. They check if everything is okay. They are always friendly.
And i never sit close to the bar.

Good pub food at a reasonable price
This was what was open on labour day (i chose a different restaurant that wasn't open, and already paid parking) I will say this was pretty good. I enjoyed the food, it's simple but good pub grub, but one sticking point was they needed more servers. It wasn't bumpin' but it also wasn't dead, the poor girl working there needed some help, she was both the server and the bar tender for 20+ patrons. The garlic cheese knots were amazing. The gravy hits right.

Do not come here if you are not a regular. You will be ignored by the girl with the red hair. There are a lot better places that have better service elsewhere. Spend your money somewhere else.

Since a full overhaul inside , the Courtyard sure looks great and we ordered multiple dishes for our group of 4 and ate like kings FOOD WAS DEEEEEEELICIOUS !!! NON STOP POP WAS GREAT TO AFTER I DECIDED TO TURN TO POP FOR BEVERAGE . ??
Might actually be a cool place if it was run properly with staff that were trained. Insanely slow service (almost 2 hours for a meal and a beer each) on a not busy Thursday at 5:30. Waitress was nice but first day with no training and rest of the staff did not seem interested in helping out. Food was pretty average for the cost. Just nothing about this place beyond location that was good.
