Chicke katsu was so juicy, cripsy, tangy. A lot of sauce but not too much. The bread was a bit dry but I guess it helps to absorb more sauce.
The curry pan was absolutely delicious! Not too greasy, hot, flavourful, cripsy. Definitely come here on a Fri or Saturday.

Would come back for the Aji Fillet Sando.
Spicy, saucy, and crispy in between fluffy bread. Great vibe and style with attentive service ✨.

If you like Matcha they’ve got The Matcha Way Pop up here every Wednesday & Friday 11-3!! It’s the best matcha in the city hands down. Also the curry buns here are unreal.
The chicken karaage was really good, pretty cheap price for the quality. This place is too cool for a nerd like me though ?
The sandwiches are so good and the sauce on the poutine has so much flavour! I love the vibe in here, tucked away with a great feel and music.

Fantastic. Had two OG sandos, would HIGHLY recommend. The flaming hot cheetos were a great addition. Super tasty and unique from everything else in the city.

Great spot for Japanese curry anything: curry fries, curry buns, curry sandos. We got a melon soda & chili goma maze udon, too!Less busy than Shiki Menya next door but by no means is the food or service a compromise.

Restaurantji Recommends
4.5 overall Small space but worthwhile to try to get a spot. It's unique with a fun atmosphere , low key vibes and good unique offerings (Japanese inspired food). Highly recommend the sandwiches. Does come piping hot, juicy and flavour filled. The fries were the only one I was mediocre on based on the texture of the fries - got the curry poutine.

Entrance is tricky- it's behind the shop, a solid metal door that is labelled "this door" or something similar. It's cheeky and I love it. Anyway, I got the deep fried spicy curry bun and it was- just wow. One of the best iterations of Japanese curry I've ever had. And I had it hours after I actually purchased it- even room temp it was just spectacular.
Absolutely fantastic! Words cannot describe how great it is. This place was suggested by a friend and I am blown away by the food and overall quality. The food was so delicious and flavourful. I highly recommend coming here!!!
