My history with your building goes back several decades. I certainly commend management on the foresight to restore the building to its former glory - and in fact, beyond. I also commend your Chef for the new menu - truly a breath of fresh air. Keep up the great work!

A historic building experience. Friendly staff and great dining options
We ate in the main dining room on a Saturday night. The room was almost full with a private function in another room. The room had no sound deadening features so it was very noisy. One of our party was wearing hearing aids and couldn’t join our conversation. Even latter with the room 1/3 full, it was still noisy. Food took a long while to appear but was good.
A very nice menu.

Charming surroundings and very good food. My flatbread was big enough for four and very tasty. The server was pleasant but she had to be asked for coffee/beverages/water. She was inattentive and slow in bringing our food. We were not asked if we’d like to look at the dessert menu. Perhaps a better training program is needed? Aside from the lackadaisical attitude of our server, we enjoyed our visit. The restaurant was quiet and we were able to converse easily.
Very nice restaurant located in the original Currie Barracks. The food was delicious, the service was fast and friendly. The only drawback was that it was very loud...hard to have a normal conversation. Still would recommend it!

The service was Unbelievable, you felt like you were a celebrity or Royalty the wine that was suggested was 100% right for the food we were eating. Two of us were celiacs and everything was cooked and handled with so much Care we were so impressed
This is not a Simpson's themed restaurant but the brisket sub with b~coli chesse soup was freaking insane.
Fab place for a meeting or dinner. Lovely terrace and gardens. Classy venue in the south west of Calgary
We had lunch here on a Monday afternoon. The food was good...no problems there. The decor is lovely and serene. The reason for 2 stars was the server. She was clumsy, knocking me twice when she brought wine and food. Her loud voice could be heard across the patio. Rather than walking up to customers to ask questions, she literally raised her voice from across the room/patio. We heard every conversation with every customer. We cringed when she came near (hoping she would tone down her decibels) which might be acceptable in a casual bar but not in an expensive upscale restaurant. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful meal, perhaps look elsewhere.

Love the Inn, beautiful locale and the staff is amazing
A spectacular dining room that can get a little noisy due to the high ceilings. Don't forget to take an after-meal stroll through the attached garden and check out the downstairs games room and parlour. A lovely building with endless character and history. Yes, the food is also good too!
Friend said this was her most favorite place to eat having been there several times with great results. Three of us met for lunch, and although a reservation had been made, it was not found, but they had room (there was lots of room). We wanted to eat outside, but was told it was hot, so ate in the conservatory, which turned out to be cold with the A/C blasting (save money and don't make it icy cold!). We all chose the Egg Benedict, two with their house smoked salmon and one with ham. Drinks were brought and the meals quickly arrived. We had been asked how we wanted our eggs, soft, medium or firm. We all chose medium, but they came firm and with only a hint of Hollandaise sauce. The salmon didn't looked smoke, more raw and had a definite fishy taste. The hash browns were large chunks of potato, bit greasy, and there were two very thin slices of tomato all for $18. Ignore the menu online as it is not up to date. We did let the server know about the eggs as the kitchen should know when they offer a particular choice as to how they will cook the eggs, then the eggs should be cooked as requested. A cappuccino was ordered, and it came in a small cup about 1/3 full and only warm, not hot! It was returned for a fuller and hotter cup. Geez, at the price of a meal, why do we only get a mediocre meal ? So disappointing and the repeat customer was embarrassed after inviting us and telling us what a fabulous place the Officer's Pub is. Perhaps we will give it another try, perhaps it was an off day for the cook (chief?), but they certainly did not sell themselves.
it was good as dog water and trash
Staff were great, friendly and helpful always seem to be around and/or available to help. Food was very good.
