French food with a bit of humorous attitude
Atmosphere and service is great. The food is honestly bland. Very “mid” at best. The baguette and French onion soup were the best part

One of the best restaurants in calgary in my opinion. Portion sizes are generous and relatively cheap to dine especially for the quality you're getting. Food is delicious, Dan and Mat consistently kill it. And talking to Patrice is always entertaining.
Delightfully consistent for over 20 years this is a beautiful French Bistro. Our family has enjoyed the service, food and wine for every special occasion. If you're looking for a taste of Paris in Calgary, this is the spot.

I had an amazing experience at this French restaurant on my birthday in February. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into a cozy spot in France 🇫🇷 .
The service was outstanding, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented, making it feel like we were dining at a Michelin-starred ⭐️ restaurant.
The biggest surprise was when they dimmed the lights, played music, and brought out a dessert with a sparkling candle. It was such a thoughtful touch that made my birthday feel extra special.

Don't let the understated branding of this french bistro fool you — this is a fine dining restaurant.
The cuisson on my rare steak au poivre was the most perfect I've seen in Canada. The Tournedos Rossini was decadent but light and well balanced with the foie gras and truffle. Hand carving on the vegetable accompaniment was a very nice detail not often seen.
A 3 course dinner and a bottle of wine for two will run you $300 not including tip. Ambience is nice but still casual, friendly and professional wait staff.
My message to the chef: execution was exceptional, but presentation of the dishes needs some tweaking. Less salad You don't need to fill the plate completely with leaves. Have confidence and let the dish speak for itself.
I will be back.

Classy. Unique. Romantic. Intimate. Very reminiscent of a Paris cafe restaurant. I met some friends there but this place is best suited to couples because it's small and mainly has tables for 2 or 4 people. Transport yourself to France for a couple of hours! The menu is expensive (and expansive!) but that's OK for a special evening dining experience. House wine is $17 per glass but it was a decent sized pour.

Scallop appetizer was amazing! Orange roughy and Portobello was also delicious, fish was cooked very well. Portion sizes were generous for French food. We've been going for years and love the space.

The atmosphere and service were excellent. But for some reason food wasn’t that tasty. We went to this restaurant before and remember that we enjoyed the food. Either different chief or just a bad day. Overall not worth the price….
