It's my fav among the Nashville chicken places in town. Not putting them down but flirty is best. Other restaurants aim for it but just miss. Like that I can have a beer to put the flames out too. (LOocal breweries too)
The restaurant itself is in a good location, very walkable and easy to get to. The inside is clean and had a nice atmosphere. There was very few people inside when I went so service was relatively quick. However, the food was borderline inedible. I ordered basic chicken tenders; the problem wasn't with the seasoning or spice level but with the breading and frying method. They had been fried for way too long in old frying oil, taken out to cool, and then seasoned and dipped back in the oil multiple times. Whatever benefit the seasoning offered was completely overwritten by the dominating texture of gritty, soggy breading that tasted like old frying oil that likely needed replacing hours beforehand.
Perhaps I was genuinely unlucky with the timing of my visit as reading other reviews it seems like multiple visitors enjoyed their food. For the price I paid and quality I received, I would actually recommend just walking down the street to the Safeway and spending less money for similar quality chicken that additionally won't taste like hot and expired deep frier.

Pretty bad chicken
The Kensington location is absolutely amazing. Especially the customer service with Kunal. I had mistakenly ordered from the Royal Oak location. When I arrived at my local location, I explained that had ordered from the wrong location. He personally said if I come back the next day he would honour my order. He totally went above and beyond what he needed to. Also, the chicken was amazing. Full awesomeness to Kunal and the Kensington Flirty Bird.

Food is soggy and bland. For the price point it’s not a good value at all. The flirty fries are just a hodge podge of sauce making everything soupy. Not worth it.

The batter was super weird, it was way too thick and became a sort of weird sandy paste when I started chewing on it. It also made me feel quite sick, because it soaked up so much oil. The franchise needs to do a quality audit at this branch, they’re doing some funky cooking here

This place has gone so far downhill....
Walked in to an empty restaurant at lunch time (should've known this was a bad sign from the get go)
The place is dirty from top to bottom & the music was so loud I could barley hear the employee.
Ordered The Sando, mild flirt. The chicken was a thick breast that took up maybe a 3rd of the bun right down the middle, leaving the rest of the bun empty. The coating on the chicken tasted like old frying oil and had a gritty texture to it.
Wouldn't eat there again
