“We tried this for the first time on June 27 at 9:30. It was very busy. The food was hot, fresh and messy fun. The young lady working was by herself and was polite and trying her best. We could see she was becoming overwhelmed. Some of the third party delivery drivers that were coming in to pick up were not kind to her. Hopefully this restaurant is normally better staffed as no one should have to work that hard by themselves.“

“Our first time here was 2 years ago and we were so impressed with the flavor and how freshly cooked the food was. Since then, we've been coming back and bringing friends to savor the food with us. We usually ordered the classic cheeseburger with fries. Yesterday, we decided to come back after being away for a few months. We were quite surprised that the overall quality of the food changed. First, the burgers were not wrapped in their usual foil cover. The reason was probably because we had to add our own toppings ourselves. The toppings, laid openly on a table next to the food truck, was a bit of a turn off, what with foreign objects or insects or such that could easily land on the open tray of pickles, relish, onions, and radishes. One of the reasons we loved the burgers was the extra toppings that made the burgers exceptionally good, prepared and wrapped neatly in the foil wraps. The burgers itself were still freshly cooked, but it now was a bit saltier. Similarly, the hotdogs were also disappointing, handed to us bare (no toppings) so we have to add ketchup or mustard by ourselves. The fries were freshly cooked, but no salt was added to it. After our meal yesterday, I'm not sure we will be coming back again soon, unless the quality went back to how we first enjoyed it.“

“Soul Kitchen did an excellent job catering our July wedding. David was very professional, and quick to respond to emails and the day of the wedding they were very helpful and friendly. The food was all hot and ready on time and was absolutely amazing! We had numerous guests comment that it was the best wedding food they ever had! The food variety was excellent! We had brisket, pulled pork, and chicken which were all very flavourful and cooked perfectly! The sides were mac and cheese, warm potato salad, baked beans and coleslaw. My favourite was the potato salad, but they were all amazing! They went above and beyond to accommodate a dietary restriction by finding something for a vegan guest. I would highly recommend them for any catering need you have!“

“The booking staff answered all our questions and responded to emails and calls in a few hours, at most. They were also very accommodating in light of last minute menu changes due to several unexpected guests cancellations. The truck arrived at our house exactly on time and the staff were friendly, smiling and very receptive to all our guests’ requests and questions. The food was excellent. We had the Neon Taco truck at our house and we highly recommend this truck and the whole experience, you will not regret it. Our guests were thrilled with this novel approach and commented on how no clean up was required !!!“
