Took a business partner from Mexico, he loved it. it was great for him to try somewhere still in Calgary but feel like you are in the country. Our waiter was awesome ! Sorry do not remember his name but he is from Mexico City so my business partner and him got along very well as they could both speak Spanish. Anyhow the Ranch never disappoints !
Overall, we really enjoyed our visit. We were especially grateful to be offered a table outside rather than inside the building, as it was quite noisy indoors and I had a bit of a headache that day. We truly enjoyed the food and the evening atmosphere. However, the table next to us was extremely loud — at times I could barely hear myself speak. I understand this is not something the restaurant can fully control, as it depends on the guests, but it did affect the experience slightly....
We highly recommend Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant. The venue is beautiful. Eating outdoors is overlooking a beautiful garden. The Staff are very friendly and effecient. To take it to the next level would be to put more attention to the details. For example to be shown to a table that is set, also not to be handed out cutlery in a stack. We still highly recommend because this is a very good venue and the location is fabulous.
