Tasty! I have been coming here since I was little however I think the quality has gone over the years. The cakes are more sweet now and have less fruit filling than before. However I still think the buns are yummy!

We’ve been getting the fruit cocktail cake from Forest Lawn Bakery since moving here in 2023, and let me just say—it’s become a non-negotiable for every celebration. Danny and his team are absolute masters of their craft. The cake is always unbelievably light, fluffy, and perfectly moist, with just the right amount of sweetness.
The whipped cream icing is the REAL game-changer for us—especially with small kids! It’s light, not overly sugary, and makes it so easy for everyone to enjoy (and go back for seconds… and thirds). It’s always the crowd favourite, and without fail, people are asking “Where is this cake from?!” by the time the first slice is served. Spoiler: there are never any leftovers.
Danny, thank you for making every one of our special days even sweeter. You’ve got loyal customers for life! If you’re thinking of ordering—DO IT. You won’t regret it.

The 2 ladies that work there at this bakery. Very, very RUDE with attitudes and BAD service. I feel so sorry for that 1 guy that works with those two. What kind of business is this?? We’ve been going to this bakery for YEARS even with the old owners which I’m not sure if it was passed down but so disappointing.

I have been buying red bean cakes, coconut buns, and cookies from this bakery for years. The quality is good and their products taste lovely. I recommend this bakery. They recently added rice with fried onions, and sliced Chinese sausage on top...YUMMY!

I ordered a last minute wedding cake for the 15th of February. I was not disappointed! It wasn't too sweet just how I like my cakes. My grandma and step father have diabetes and they were thrilled to finally eat something that wouldn't get their sugar high. Thank you, I loved it.

We've been buying buns from this bakery for many years (even though we live in Edmonton). We always stop by when we are in Calgary. Our family loves the deep fried taro donut and the coconut loaf.
Amazing owners and amazing. I couldn't ask for more. The buns were so good that I find myself coming back many times. I highly recommend you go at least once.

I was calling last minute and I wanted a birthday cake that wasn’t from a major food chain. I called and by the time it took me to leave work and pick it up, everything was ready. Completely shocked with the amazing presentation and the whole family including my mom, the birthday girl, was super impressed with the taste. The icing wasn’t fake and sweet like we usually have to endure at most places and I’ll definitely be back!
