My family loves this restaurant. This is where we go to celebrate important events in our lives. We know how much effort the owners and staff put into providing an authentic Italian experience and appreciate their hard work. From cocktails to pasta to mains to dessert, this is by far one of my favourite restaurants. The gnocchi is amazing. Highly recommend. Five stars. Please check it out. We had the most incredible experience at Franca's Italian Restaurant! They went above and beyond to organize a truly personal event for me. Every detail, from the decorations to the overall ambiance, was customized to perfection and they accommodated numerous dietary restrictions flawlessly. The food was absolutely phenomenal, and the staff were not only professional but also incredibly warm and accommodating. The restaurant itself is simply beautiful, adding to the overall charm of the evening. I can't recommend Franca's enough – they truly know how to make any occasion special!

Italian food at its best! Authentic and delicious and you feel like family immediately! Hours are limited so make reservations! Their event nights are fabulous - check out their wine tasting nights and live music! They are able to accommodate gluten-free. My wife has celiac disease and has never had an issue eating here!

I was surprised when I made the reservations and it was an old friend from 25 years ago… The food was a five star.. The ambience was a five star and the service was a five star… This is a hidden gold mine. If you’ve never been to it, you’re missing out.

This family owned gem of a restaurant is a must visit if you love good food. I have been here once before for a private event, yes they do those too, and wanted to take my partner to have the amazing experience I had.She had vegetarian pizza and I had lamb chops with asparagus and portion of pasta that came with it. Absolutely scrumptious!Obviously going there again! Make sure you reserve your place because it’s a busy space!Thank you Franca and Family!

The best Italian restaurant in Calgary by a mile! The food was fresh, delicious and fairly priced. The service staff were fun, welcoming and helpful. Make sure you have your reservations, it's a small restaurant and it fills up fast.

Wow! What an amazing family owned business. We originally tried their pizza at their location in Oakridge and found out about their restaurant! Food was delicious: bruschetta is one of the best I’ve had, pasta was fresh, the veal and cod were amazing and the steak was so flavourful! The desserts were top notch, especially the limoncello tiramisu. To top it all off, the service was impeccable. We truly felt at home and even gave hugs to Franca because they felt like family after our experience. We’ll be making this our family dinner spot in the future!

Franca's Italian Restaurant is simply a precious find, reminiscent of the good old days. The warm and inviting atmosphere whisked me away to a time when things were simpler. The staff, my, they were as caring as if I were their own family. And the food, oh, the lasagna, risotto, and tortellini with pesto, it was like a taste of Italy itself. While it may not be the most budget-friendly choice, the quality and the experience are worth every precious penny. It's the kind of place where you create beautiful memories, molto bene, just perfect!
