Fritou Chicken West 85th

Trust me, the chicken was bad; nothing but salt, tiny breast and hard, overcooked and soggy. It wasnt fresh either. Not worth it. The service.was nice.and the counter host was good. I would like to add that the fries were very bad too. Worse than McDonalds. I threw them away! They were so overcooked and full of salt.
Also, i came back home with a stomach ache and nausea. I bought a 7 up from shoppers to immediately help the digestion!

I like their Pizza deal. The price is reasonable. Their chicken & fries are always good. And I like their in-house chili hot sauce. The place is not fancy at all. Most customers buy takeout. It's especially crowded after school hours.

Always enjoy coming here. Service is always awesome, staff are very friendly and the restaurant is kept nice and clean.

Popcorn chicken is always a go-to for me, the fries and poutine are also very good.

I hate to leave such a negative review, but I feel like the quality does not match the average rating of this restaurant and I was very dissatisfied. The first negative was the price. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, and it was $10. There are many chicken sandwiches for less than $10 in Calgary, and every one of them that I've had was superior to this. The second issue was the bathroom; it smelled fine, but every surface was covered with grease or dirt smears, as if somebody took a dirty cloth and wiped the entire room.

The biggest issue was the sandwich itself. I didn't taste anything spicy about it whatsoever, the breading was not crispy, and the chicken breast was about 2/3 of the size of the average chicken sandwich that I've ordered at other restaurants. The vegetables were also very sparse. The only ingredient that was generous was the amount of Mayo (too much for me). The sandwich was cooked fresh which was nice, but I waited at least 10 minutes and they did not tell me there would be a wait when I placed my order. I won't be trying this location again.

Agree with all of the other reviews about the spicy chicken burger. It is not spicy at all and they don't even put spicy mayo or anything on it to make it spicy. It makes me feel it was false advertising to call it spicy when it has no difference from the regular chicken burger. The meat is also very small in comparison to the bun and other ingredients which does not reflect the price point. Will not be returning for Spicy chicken sandwich cravings when KFC is right down the street. Guy working there was very friendly and made the food to the best of his ability so it’s not his fault.

I just ordered a Ceasar salad and mango shake from here. Ceasars salad barely had and dressing on it, it just tastes bland! Wasted $12 something on that disgusting salad. Mango shake made up for it though.

This is a very clean and neat restaurant.I go there frequently, and I got a high quality of the food. The portions are a good size.The staff are wonderful and friendly. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming . A very positive experience.

I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, first time eating there. The meat doesn't even fill the bun it came in, and it was not a spicy chicken just a regular, but I ordered to go. So by the time I stopped to eat, I realized it wasn't spicy and too small for the bun it came in. As you can see, I'm half done it and there is no more chicken for my bun. Sorry, but I'm probably not going to eat there again.

I was a Fritou virgin until today. I’ve been wanting to try it for years but I don’t live near any of the restaurants. Today I spotted one in a neighbourhood I frequent, so I ordered online and went to pick it up. I was not disappointed. I had subside pick up and it came out right on time. Very pleasant person. The chicken was hot, crispy and very juicy, with just enough spice to please the pallate. The fries were very tasty and surprisingly crisp as well. All in all a very pleasing experience and will definitely be back again.

Ordered there for the first time today looking for fast food in the area. It took at least 15 minutes for them to make a club sandwich and fries. The only other customer ordered a spicy chicken burger with onion rings 30 seconds before me, and he got his meal at the same time. The one guy working there clearly seemed overwhelmed.

The food itself was mediocre. There wasn't any bacon, 1-2 pieces of the dullest lettuce I've seen, and a single slice of tomato split between the 4 portions. The fries were okay, tasted fine but really greasy.

I absolutely regret not going to Boston Pizza, A&W, Fergus & Bix, or Hankki. Here's a picture after I ate the first piece and decided to share a review

Good moist chicken with flavourful coating, good fries and gravy and tasty coleslaw
Service was fast and friendly. I did takeout, but the inside looked to be very clean
