I love Japanese pancakes, it was delicious. Prices are a bit high for pancakes, but they're worth the taste. ?? I highly recommend it.

We ate here twice and both experiences were lovely. Went here for my mothers birthday today and they were absolutely wonderful. The pancakes are so fluffy and light, and the latte was delicious as well. Tried the savoury menu today, the Smoked Salmon Croffle: small but tasty and filling. My cappuccino was a little on the colder side, but otherwise everything was exceptional. I would come here everyday if I could!

Vegetarian options: They had the Eggs Benedict with Spinach, a perfect vegetarian option.

Dietary restrictions: They have soy or oat milk alternatives for coffee.

So expensive 17 dollars for 1?! What?!and we waited for an hour the pancakes were almost not fully cooked.though the place was really nice ? my grandchildren didn't even finish the pancake and it's so sweet!
I would not recommend eating one per person I would do like 1 for 2 persons.

Family has always wanted to come to Fuwa Fuwa so came here for dinner/dessert (we had a late lunch so didn't need dinner). It's a nice little cafe in the University District with lots of street parking and free underground parking. We elected to park underground - you scan a QR code at the cafe to get the free parking.

My wife got the Matcha Tiramisu - it was jiggly and very good. Moist and not too sweet. My kids shared the Nutella Banana Pancake - they really enjoyed it. I wanted something savoury so got the BELT Croffle which is a Bacon, Egg, Lettuce, Tomato between 2 waffles. It was sooo good. The cafe had self serve water which was nice. I elected to try a mango soda which was very good. My wife had a matcha latte which great too.

The place is a nice little cafe - very bright and clean with a few tables. The staff were friendly. Not too many tables but it wasn't too busy on this day. We definitely will come back.

Tried this branch because it's closer to where we lived. Didn't disappoint. Like the branch in Chinook, the atmosphere here is bright, cheerful and staff are so friendly. Making a note to come here for my birthday brunch.

Parking: 2 hour free parking available behind and across from SaveOnFoods, also on street.

I will recommend Fuwa Fuwa to my friends We have been eating at fuwa fuwa so many times in different locations. BUT Not the one in Fairview mall is the worst. We had under cooked pancakes. They don’t even want to fix the problems. We want fluffy pancakes not doughy pancakes!!!

How is it that a store closes at 8 but stop making pancakes at 7:30?

The souffle pancake is great, very fluffy, but the french toast is just so so. It is soft and lacking in flavor and texture, almost the same as the pancake with a different shape. We were hoping for a more distinct taste. We think it is a bit pricey as the pancake doesn't fill us up. It is very soft and airy, so you can see why.

Omg these pancakes were sooooo delicious!! I’m a person who dislikes pancakes to begin with, but was very excited to try this soufflé version and they did not disappoint. They’re light and fluffy, and not too sweet. The toppings are also a great ratio to the pancakes and the portions are a decent size. I can’t wait to try some other flavours next time I’m back!

I went after 10 a.m., and the sign on the door said open, but the doors were closed. I saw the staff inside and who saw me but wouldn't even signal to me that they are closed. They were drinking coffee and turned their face away when they saw us outside. What kind of customer service is this. If you are not open, maybe don't put a sign that says open. I am so definitely not coming back. If the customer service is this bad, I bet even their food is. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I've been meaning to try Fuwa Fuwa for so long and finally went! I've had fluffy Japanese pancakes IN Japan before so I think my high expectations put me off for a while. If I were to compare these pancakes to the ones I had in Japan, they're really not the same. But as separate pancakes not being compared to each other, these pancakes are great. Let me explain. The pancakes I had at Benizuru in Tokyo were fluffy, jiggly, but had a density to them that was satiating and the texture was quite moist. Those pancakes could've been a whole meal.At Fuwa Fuwa, the pancakes are very light and fluffy, rather airy. They're not as moist, but they make a very satisfying dessert. Despite how big the pancakes end up looking because they're fluffy, they wouldn't satiate you as if you had a meal. The taste is not too sweet so that's already a thumbs up from me.So honestly I don't think it's fair to compare Fuwa Fuwa to fluffy Japanese pancakes in Japan. They're just too different to me. That being said I still liked my pancake order at Fuwa Fuwa.I like the variety in their drink menu! I tried the strawberry matcha oolong? Actually I can't remember if it was matcha or some other green thing but it's an interesting flavour that I wouldn't recommend to someone who is not a tea lover. I did like it but the flavour was unusual and venturous haha

The pancakes were seriously yummy! We had the signature pancake, matcha tiramisu, and another one whose name I do not remember. I also had the vanilla latte. All of it was yummy yummy yummy! And the price was very reasonable, methinks. Would definitely go back!
