If misery had a face, it would be Travis behind the bar.
Came in hoping for a chill night â ended up getting cut off for talking to other customers. Literally. A couple beside me asked a question, we chatted politely, and next thing I know the bartender (Travis, aka Captain Buzzkill) decides Iâm a problem. Smiles like a cartoon villain and says, âYouâre cut off :)â â passive-aggressively, like Iâd just insulted his apron.
Iâve worked in hospitality â and Iâve never seen a bartender so bothered by someone being social. At one point I helped a table decide on food and he goes, âYouâre doing my job for me.â Sorry for having personality, dude. Maybe if you werenât glued to your phone 70% of your shift, youâd be doing it yourself.
Food? Oh, itâs as tragic as the service. The âbeef dipâ was two crusty buns with some meat that tasted like it came from a gas station sandwich. No au jus, no horseradish, just disappointment and a side of lukewarm gravy. Fries taste like they were microwaved from 1998. Their burgers? Dry, burnt, and sadder than Travisâs vibe.
Only thing worth ordering is the pizza, and even then â is it worth the eye-rolls and attitude?
If you enjoy overpriced frozen food, being side-eyed for existing, and bartenders who seem genuinely annoyed that you dared show up⊠Gatorâs is for you. Otherwise, head to Red Crowns â it's one block away and staffed by people who donât hate joy.

Best bar food in the city, I recommend either the gators Hawaiian or the calamari. If youâre looking for a chill night out the pool tables are sure to keep you busy too! Couldnât ask for better service either.

Came for a pool league there and usually the players get accommodated but we literally sat there for more then a hour to get service and the waitress literally saw us and walked by us multiple times and seemed upset that she literally had to do her job so we didn't bother ordering anything but water and ice so we wouldn't have to deal with this shit ass service place and hopefully not have a pool league there again fingers crossed

The quintessential pool hall. Gators was clean the pool tables are well taken care of and the staff friendly. If you're looking to brush up your skills or are just looking for a fun night out with friends this is a great spot for a game.

I would give this place - 5 star review 100x over. We have picked up pizza here several times and had them cater multiple bday events (10-16 pizzas) - not only has the quality and service been truly excellent each time, the staff really goes above and beyond. The last large order we did they had us pull right up to their main doors and their staff loaded all 16 pizzas in the vehicle for us. Our fav pizza place in the city!

Celebrated my 40th bday there. (Been there once before) Kareoke as always so much fun, the host is amazing and so much fun đ€© food was alright, unfortunately our waitress was extremely rude and barely checked on us. Had to ask things multiple times.
