Gaucho Brazilian Barbecue

I’ve been a costumer for a while, however our last experience wasn’t good. Made a reservation a month earlier for a large group, making it clear our service option (A la carte). When I arrived we were placed in the back of the restaurant by the reception on a table that wasn’t the right for my group size. Then a rude attendant came by and proceeded to say that “we made the reservation for Rodizio” and that we could be there. in front of the whole group on a very unprofessional tone. By the end, the mistake was from the restaurant itself, since there was another smaller group meant to be placed we we were at first. No apologies to us. 23 people were made very uncomfortable with the whole situation.

Four people to try figure out how to sit you with a condescending attitude. Not again.

We were a group of five today and were their guests. From start to finish, everything was absolutely delicious. We had the chance to try most of the dishes, and Martina made us feel like we had been there before. Her energy and kindness surrounded us throughout our visit. We spent about two hours there and did not even realize how quickly the time passed. Many thanks to Martina and the rest of the staff who made our visit truly awesome.

Amazing experience! The food was delicious — especially the grilled meats, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and lively. Definitely one of the best Brazilian barbecue places I’ve tried. Highly recommend!

My Brazilian review: The best Brazilian experience you can have in Calgary, Alberta. The team is kind, efficient and acomodating. If you are a meat lover, that's the place for you enjoy the rodízio all you can eat buffet. If you're vegetarian they have options for you. The true Brazilian taste is the highlight of this place. 1000% recommended

It was a great and tasty experience. Our server Valentina did a great job explaining the menu, the meats and other foods were incredible, and the guys serving the food were very nice. We happened to be eating on a fairly quiet night although I understand this place can get quite busy

My husband and I were a bit disappointed this time because we were placed in the corner and did not receive the service we normally do. I had to ask a couple of times for service. It felt like we weren't noticed because of where we were placed. Just to be clear, the waitress was exceptional! She checked on us, was very upbeat and even put a sparkler in our desert as it was our anniversary.

Amazing food and variety. It's an amazing spot to celebrate with friends or family and try lots of fun meat.

I visited Gaucho Brazilian Barbecue on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025, and had an amazing experience—especially thanks to our server, Laurenn! She was absolutely perfect and brought true Brazilian good vibes to our table.

Even though she mentioned she hadn’t been working there very long, you’d never know it—she made us feel genuinely welcomed and important from the moment we sat down. Laurenn took the time to explain the dishes in a way only a Brazilian could, with so much knowledge and enthusiasm. She even recommended specific cuts and sides, all of which were delicious!

The atmosphere was lively and authentic, and the service was outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Calgary—and I’ll be bringing friends with me to share the experience. Highly recommend!

We choose to spend our anniversary at gauchos, we where greeted and informed on how all it works, the waitress asked what the occasion was and we informed her of our anniversary and was offered free dessert due to the occasion. We enjoyed our meal leaving room for a special treat at the end, at the end of our meal we were handed the dessert and very quickly the table was cleared and the stop go cow removed, we ordered dessert enjoyed it but we where still hungry the next time we caught the waitress attention we were greeted with the bill and we quickly picked up that we were charged for dessert, this turned the evening into regret and left feeling scamed and still hungry. We still tiped hoping that the meat service staff would still get a portion of the tip as they where amazing

The pineapple isn't as good as the place up the trail, but the meat is far superior and it's got a cleaner vibe. We will be going back again and again.
