I hope they open soon, we always order the Cantonese chow Mein . Used to have a restaurant in Saskatoon years ago they shut down and moved to Calgary , I have been looking for some place that was as good as them and I finally found it at this restaurant

Food is decent, big issue is ordering, they close at 9pm but for some reason they don’t answer calls past 8pm and it’s a Friday too lol

We used to love this place but now it’s just bad. Rice and chow main were both under cooked. Ginger beef and pineapple pork were old and cold like we got someone’s leftovers. What was my favourite dish, chicken and black bean had something like chicken but it had a strip of fat on it like bacon. We are so disappointed because this place used to be good.

Not the greatest, the chicken balls were like chicken nuggets you get in the frozen section at the grocery store.

Such a disappointment. I paid 15 dollars for salt and pepper squid which only had 8 pieces of squid. The rest of the portion was made up of onions and bell peppers. The BBQ pork slices was the same with 80% of the order being sauce and bean sprouts.

Absolutely disappointed, ordered just a double combo with ginger beefx2, bbq pork and extra spring rolls…asked for plum sauce.. was told they put it in.. they didn’t, and it didn’t matter because the spring rolls were awful. Ginger beef was alright but barley any sauce.. bbq pork was bbq gristle..and so much sauce the entire bag was soaking in it when I got home. Rice was super dark.. like fried in soya sauce or something.. was cold and gross! Seems to get worse every time so that was the last.. spent 40 bucks for what was about 3 bucks of edible food:(

This location has always been our number one go to for Chinese Food. Especially for the Ginger Beef and Shanghai noodles. We have never been disappointed. We also placed a very large order that was about $300 and everything was made fresh and the portions were huge. Also the lady at the till is the nicest everytime we visit!

I always like the Chinese food, I decide to buy at Ginger beef express at McKnight, my order was a raice, ginger beef, beef with vegetables and the dry salt and pepper squids. The order was good except the squid was terrible, the squid was soggy, not crispy and look like is not cook properly because the squids was hard to bite and very expensive. I do not recommend to buy squids on this place.

I placed an order online from the McKnight location. Selected a good tip. The delivery was 1 hr and 10 minutes after we placed the order. Not complaining about that, I realize it’s a Friday evening which is busy. What I didn’t like is that it arrived over 15 minutes after the scheduled time, that the person delivering didn’t seem apologetic about it, the portion of squid was poor compared to the Crowfoot location, and they insisted on charging $1 because of two sides of oil, which don’t come up as an option on their site. Spent a few cents short of $60 but got attitude instead of appreciation for ordering from them. Crowfoot is fantastic every time, never ordering again from this other one.
