Ginger Beef Express

What the hell is the meat inside the wonton?? It is tasteless fluff??? I don't think I will be coming back!!

Picking duck was good, ginger beef was pretty good, steamed pork buns and soup dumplings were underwhelming. Overall, I’d say its better than average but saltier than most. It was very busy for a Thursday evening, so it’s obviously popular.

These food are gross! Super duper dry as in old. I ordered ginger beef & lemon chicken and these came in, You can not eat as it full battered and no beef at all. Chicken and beef are all dried up. So, never order here in Macewan Ginger Beef Express. It’s a waste of money. I normally ordered sauce on the side all the time and it wasn’t like this. Country hills & Marlborough are very satisfying with fresh, tenders meat way much better than this Macewan Ginger Beef Express. My first and last ordered.

We ordered special chow mein for pick up. There was a total of 4 broccoli, a cple pieces of pork and the tiniest shrimp I have ever seen. There used to be carrots and baby corn and lots of vegetables. The quality of food has gone down. Terribly sorry.

Great black pepper chicken, lots of flavour, but not syrupy. Also, they switch in garlic sauce with my braised 4 kinds of veggies and take out the oyster sauce on request. The veggies are still cruncy and not over cooked or soggy! The hot and sour soup is excellent and pork free. I drive quite far to pick up Chinese food here. If I add another dish, they throw in chicken fried rice for 99 cents.

I ordered a Meal for Three for delivery but when I opened the container for the chowmein, half the noodles were HARD/uncooked, and the other half was completely soggy. (Either that or they sat around in the restaurant for so long the noodles dried out and weren't fresh AT ALL.)

My partner and I were looking forward to the chowmein more than anything else we ordered tonight, and it was the dish we ended up throwing away.

Absolutely disgusting and over priced. Portions are also pretty small. Don't waste your money.

There are much better Chinese restaurants to choose from.

This is my fav community restaurant. Food quality and taste is always superb, but today it was exceptional. Ordered beef with broccoli, satay chicken fried noodles, ginger beef and wonton soup. It was the perfect new years meal. :)

Ginger beef was hard to chew . And the sauce tasted like sweet and sour sauce. Ordered the dinner for 2 but got a little rice container. Vegetables in the beef and broccoli was not fresh. Cost 44$.
Won’t be going back. No flavour in the wonton soup. Smelt like old water and wontons didn’t have any spice in side noodle.

The only disappointment is the broccoli and beef. There's barely any meat, mostly veggies, sighs... for 18$ you think there'd be more meat in it....

Honestly it was pretty bland. I guess I’m not really a fan of Chinese food in general but I was expecting it to be better than it was. It smelled good tho lol.

Ordered 2 Double combos. Not good. Vegetables were cold, rice was mushy and bland ( supposed to be be fried but I don’t think so), S & S Chicken was very chewy and S & S Pork was inedible. (Way overcooked to point of hardness). Only item that was good was the Ginger Beef. Definitely won’t order again as it second time that order has been subpar.

My family enjoys Chinese food and very rare to want to order multiple times after a feast. The food was fresh and so yummy nicely done we will be back thank you
