First time ordering. Only in Calgary for the night and I have been craving wor wonton for a while. Ordered a couple other dishes (through skip) and qualified for a free dish so that was cool. I thought the portions would be smaller and that’s why I ordered so many to try. These portions are a hearty size, I will have leftovers for my daughter to try and this makes me happy ? as of the time of writing this I have only tried the pork dumplings and the wonton soup but am very happy with the quality. I ordered through skip and so it was a bit pricey (I think my bill was around $60 with tip) but honestly I could feed three hungry people with this order. Would recommend this location ?

Ginger Beef Express is our go to for the best Chinese food. We have tried many others, but always come back as their Ginger Chicken and Beef can’t be beat! We had a huge order for Christmas Eve and everything was exactly what we ordered. The lady who took my timed order was so helpful and she got the order exactly right! It was on time and the delivery guy was super friendly. Amazing job Ginger Beef!!

Do yourself a favor and don’t order from here - Calgary is full of wonderful Chinese Restaurants like Silver Dragon, Western Coffee Shop in Mission, Dragon Gate, Golden Moon just down the road from this place - order your food from one of them.We spent over $90 here tonight and mostly unhappy with taste, quality, portion size.The good - They followed instructions on our request for no shrimp or seafood. Salt & Pepper chicken was good and as you would expect it. #33 Stir Fried Mixed Vegetables was tasty, not over cooked and savoury/garlicky.The bad - Curry Chicken was so bland. No seasoning or salt - just like curry water on vegetables and chicken. Gross.The Cantonese Chow Mein is not Cantonese at all. We order this dish every time we order and it should be in a light colored savoury sauce that’s just delicious. This was soy sauce on noodles. They should have been crispy noodles. They were soggy. Do not order this if you are hoping for true Cantonese chow Mein.The Yang Chow friend rice - flavourless. Again bland. No seasoning or spices.The portion sizes for nearly $20 a dish is embarrassingly small. You guys should ashamed to charge that kind of money and use the small aluminum circular take out containers - all the places I listed above you get the large ones.Having spent nearly $100 tonight here, I will never order here again, nor recommend anyone else does. Terrible food, terrible quality, I feel like I got ripped off - and the food is in the garbage bin.

I get that you wanted the skip delivery to be fast , wow 20 min after I ordered , but the food was soggy , and the vegetables were completely raw and hard , and not cooked.I’d rather my food cooked then a speedy fast delivery

They gave us the wrong order and they didn't want to replace the order with our stuff and I got sick by eating somebody else's food
First time ordering. Honestly I’m very disappointed in this food. We got chicken fried rice, lemon chicken and fried chicken. The lemon chicken was pretty disgusting, tasteless and the consistency was mushy. The chicken wings were so bland I don’t even think salt was added. The rice had little rice and had no seasoning. Besides that delivery took over 40min and we live 5min away. Truthfully the only good thing in this meal were the portions. But the taste was so disappointing I couldn’t finish it

Mainly use delivery but sometimes p/u myself. Always pleasant and since moving to area in April 2022 I have used several times. Tonight I enjoyed the best ginger beef experienced in south Calgary. Great spring rolls and chicken dishes as well. Tonight I had to write a review as I was given a 45 min. delivery time and food was here in 10. Now when does that ever happen. A sure 10 out of 10 for me!!

I've been looking for a good western/Chinese food place for a while and I think I found one close to home. I ordered a beef and broccoli, also stir-fry veggie dish. The veggies are perfectly cooked and seasoned and not soggy, tasteless like most other places. I like how this place does not use cheap fillers. Fresh, high quality and very filling. Staff are friendly on the phone and in person. I look forward to coming back to try more dishes. Thank you!
