Im done ever ordering from ginger beef express. They consistently mess up my orders. Meat and tofu dish, no meat, crispy prawns no sauce, dry ginger beef, completely wrong order sent to me, always missing something from my $100+ orders. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Even though it was New Year’s Eve and we put in our order that afternoon everything was on time when I picked up the order and the 5 dishes we ordered were delicious.

This is the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. Ginger beef, sweet and sour pork, chicken fried rice - bland is putting it nicely.

I usually enjoy your ginger beef, but my recent order was extremely spicy, with an excessive amount of chili flakes. This made the dish nearly inedible. I understand that there is normally some heat and spice which is fine however this was far beyond what I have come to know

Has there been a change in the recipe or a new cook? I’ve come to expect better quality from your restaurant and was quite disappointed.

I wrote this review to offset all the haters with the 1 star reviews because they r tweaking. This food is so yummers and also the people are so nice they treat me like their little baby and they kiss my forehead when I grab the to go bag they are so 👍👍🙂 I love ginger beef express. Vegetarian options yummy I recommend the salt and pepper tofu and the black bean vegetables
(picture looks a little unappetizing but trust it was so good)

NEVER AGAIN!!! This was by far the WORST food I have ever had in my life! No flavour, no sauce, obviously the cheapest ingredients known to man!
Beyond disgusting!
Stay away!

I normally order from them and we really enjoy it.
But today it was the worst Chinese we've ever had. The photos is the food left that's going into the compost after 7 ppl ate. That not including scraping our plates. Normally there would be a little left. It was terrible
Normally I'd say 1 bad time isn't worth not trying again but this undid all the good times we have had it.

The Single Combo is a good value and has become my go-to when working late. Favourite meat option is the Honey Garlic Chicken and I usually add a small wonton soup for $2 more.

Wow, what a mistake. Had to rush and was in Willow Park so thought to grab some take out. The original location on MacLeod that burnt down was always pretty good. This express location was simply horrible. The young lady that took our order was very nice and got the order correct. But got home and it seemed off. The taste was metallic and stale. I am convinced this was reheated from frozen and was freezer burnt. The spring roll tasted horrible, the ginger beef was dry, hard, and honestly, grey in color. Stupidly, the two of us ate it and literally within an hour felt very off. Stomach was upset and cramping for both of us. The next two hours was taking Pepto Bismol and feeling like we were getting more and more nauseous. The rice was beef fried and not sure what the meat was that was used but it wasn't the right color either. How do you fry rice so that it comes to the consumer like a wet congealed ball of starch? The veggie dish was under cooked and over spiced with ginger. I don't think the veggies were fresh. And the palace style chicken was the last surprise at how bland and off tasting it was. I have sent a note to the franchise and because they were closed have not heard back. I would never recommend this franchise again and they are not a cheap alternative. $75 for take out for two with three dishes and rice is not cheap. For the quality, it was about $80 too much!! That is because they should pay people to eat that low quality food they offer. Wish I would have read the reviews. This is one place to avoid. Or make sure you have a bottle of Pepto handy. How the two of us did not end up sick this morning was a huge surprise.

Ordered dinner for New Year’s Eve, picked up and when we got home, we realized we had the wrong order. They offered to have it delivered but we thought it would be just as fast to pick it up, after getting back home, it was cold and not enjoyable even after warming in microwave. They apologized but didn’t offered a reduction in price for a coupon for free item in the future. My last order from Ginger Beef.

Waited an extra hour and half from what was promised, awful service, kept telling people it would be another 15 mins when in reality it was another hour, will never be back

I have been a loyal Ginger Beef customer for years. The first few times ordering from this new Express location were delicious; however, the quality has been on the steady decline since. Last month was a breaking point, as I got food poisoning from either the pork & vegetable dumplings or mushroom fried rice. I will not be back. The Cranston location seems to be cleaner and of better quality, but I’m still not sure I want to risk it again. Very disappointing.
