The BEST Old-School bakery in Calgary, hands down! Doughnuts, cakes, cupcakes and their irresistible cheese buns (yes, they are addictive). Definitely worth a trip to the SE for.

I have been purchasing birthday cakes and other goods from the Glamorgan Bakery for my two kids for the last 10 years. Their products are good and there had been no issues in the past. I typically ordered online and payed during pickup. Now, they changed their policy to pay at the time of order which is not a problem. But the customer service is horrible. The behavior of the manager was rude and unpleasant. In May, I ordered a cake that requires lazer imaging. The manager called me at the very last moment and said she didn't receive the image, so I had to resend it. During this whole time, the manager was pushing me to pay over the phone. This was not of my comfort at all, as I never share my credit card information in this way. I picked up the cake on Saturday as they are closed on Sundays. I opened the cake on Sunday and found that the message to be put on my son's cake was missing, which was quite upsetting. I was ultimately disappointed with their customer service. Now, I am looking for a new place to order my kids birthday cakes.

I tried the famous cheesebuns and I was not very impressed I found them to be so salty to the point I had to not eat it. The size of the buns also were all squished and flatten by the time we made it home and for a pretty penny you would expect a bit better taste and presentation. Overall I think it’s great it’s a local bakery maybe I would try something else but the cheese buns were not very good.
For a first time experience the older lady was quite rude and unfriendly, donut was great however

I stopped by earlier today. I ordered about 10 things when I was told the price it was considerably higher then expected. I asked to repeat what I got. She didn't understand what I saying and was getting annoyed. She showed me my order and when I said that it was more then I ordered she didn't understand. I figured she just miss heard me and thought I wanted more. I got home and checked that I paid double. It's not really about the money but I'm just really annoyed that I didn't check but how did that happen.

I'm so divided putting up this review but I need to. Please do not buy any whole wheat buns from the freezer as a discount and the last few times they have all been freezer burnt when I'd given them to people it is so embarrassing. I spend a lot of money there and it's not acceptabl to have my friends telling me they were freezer burnt . Do better guys.
