It's been a couple years since we've been here (we moved to the NW), but when we lived a couple blocks away, we would frequent the bakery almost weekly.
We were finally able to make our way back, today and stocked up. The cherry strudel is still amazing, but the cheese buns aren't at all what they used to be.
Initially, we thought it was a visual thing, but after breaking into a bag of cheese buns, we noticed that there was a lot less cheese and a lot more bread. They even microwave differently. The signature cheese chunk in the middle is barely there, if at all, while the bun itself is lighter, fluffier, and almost dry.
We'll be back for the strudel, but we're not so sure about the cheese buns anymore.

We ordered the cheese buns and sausage rolls (looked like Chinese egg rolls)
The cheese buns were too salty but would have been okay if they went easy on the salt.
The sausage rolls were another matter... They were greasy, smelly, and the meat tasted like it had gone bad - simply inedible.
