I absolutely love this place! My go to is the wonton soup, the pan fried Dumping are delicious, my two favs! The staff are so friendly , i would definitely recommend checking this place out!

We have an autistic child who will only eat certain foods. So I had to ask that a couple of items that we ordered have ingredients removed. They did exactly as requested. The food arrived fresh and hot and the delivery person was friendly

This restaurant is really set up just for takeaway. There are a couple tables but their focus is certainly delivery.
We had Wor Wonton Soup, Ginger Beef, Palace Shrimp and Dumplings. Everything was great but the shrimp really stood out. The sauce on it is sweet, spicy perfection. I was glad we dined in for it so we got it when it was beautiful and crispy.

The food all tastes the same. The fried dumplings were thick and doughy. I would not recommend take out.

We have noticed this little restaurant for years and thought we would try it for a big family dinner. We ordered a group meal and some additional items and picked it up. They gave us a discount and we took it home . We were amazed how beautifully cooked and the portions were plentiful. Very much enjoyed, well done.

We have been ordering from here for over 10 years. During Covid I began to make my own Chinese food. Since then, I just haven't found take out to beat it. We ordered from here on Saturday and it was THE BEST EVER!!!! Still loving the leftovers, days later. Kudos and thank you for your incredible, and friendly customer service!!!!

Very small restaurant, five tables inside. Our food was ordered to go. It was average...the palace style shrimp was quite soggy and overcooked. It would have been better if it was packed with sauce on the side.

Golden National is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants around. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — never greasy, never overly salty. Delivery is consistently fast, and the prices are more than reasonable for the quality you get. Every dish we’ve ordered has been on point, from classics to house specialties, and it’s clear they take pride in doing things right. Reliable, delicious, and great value — this is our go-to spot for Chinese food every time.

Had an amazing experience during our recent visit. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. Staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Great value too — high quality, and large portions without the high prices. A perfect spot for a satisfying meal that doesn’t break the bank. Highly recommend!

The vegetable dishes and dishes with vegetables included are absolutely superb! I have had Chinese cuisine in Calgary for 60 years and the dishes from Golden National are absolutely the very best! I am half Chinese and Ukrainian and my grandfather was an early Chinese settler in Calgary, so I should know about the quality provided by this establishment. Highly recommend!

Fantasic chow mein, sweet and sour pork and vegetable beef. The restaurant is very clean and cozy plus the staff was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience! They were very accommodating with my pork allergy, which I truly appreciated.
The food came out hot and crispy — everything tasted fresh and authentic. The orange chicken and ginger beef were especially flavorful and perfectly crispy. The bean sprouts were delicious and had a great crunch, and the chicken chow mein was packed with flavor, hot, and satisfying.
We couldn’t finish everything, so we took the leftovers home — reheated them in a wok the next day, and honestly, they tasted even better!
Hands down the best Chinese food we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!
