Food is hit or miss, but when it’s good it’s really good. However, the service has consistently been terrible and nearly impossible to get your hands on some water.

We have been to Golden Sands restaurant many times for both Dim sum and Dinner. Each have their own menu.
This time we went for dinner to celebrate a birthday.
My wife felt the server was very pushy when it came to ordering more food. As a result there was way too much food for 4 people. She told us to order 4 quail appetizers when 2 was more than sufficient for 4 people. We ended up taking half to food home. The fish and shrimp dishes were identical except for the meat.
We also felt that this restaurant has become one of the most expensive in the city for dinner.

We have been to this restaurant for many times, the food were delicious, but today we were shocked from the way that the owner ran business. We had one dish of dessert which was tasting strange, I ate half of one piece and let the owner know, he took the dish and came back to tell us that they think no problem with it because they all ate it, no apologies, didn’t give a new dish to us, we paid full dish for one bite at the end, horrible service, definitely will never go again!
