Food for the most part is excellent, one of the best dim sum places in Calgary. However, it’s not super consistent. We went back to back weekends and a few of the staples, such as shrimp dumpling (ha gow) was night and day. The first weekend was excellent, thin wrappers, nice shrimp. And the next weekend, thick wrappers, chewy and questionable shrimp. But of all the times we’ve been, it’s usually pretty good. Service has been hit or miss, but overall what you’d expect....
Come for food, not the decor. And I'm 100% ok with that. That said, while the decor is just ok, the food is presented very nicely.
This place puts a really nice spin on some traditional dim sum dishes. And they do it well! One of the best dim sum spots I've been to in the city.
