This ginger beef is NOT ginger beef Jerky … you can actually eat it! The black bean sauce is possibly the best black bean sauce I’ve ever had. The chop suey was excellent the fried rice wasn’t a refried rice . .. in other words the food was GREAT! I would recommend giving this place a try in house first , then use the take out option ( which I will likely do next week)

Superb. We got a takeout dinner for 6 people. Ordering was really easy via the website. The food was ready perfectly on time. The order was accurate. And the food was delicious. The staff are friendly too. Please support this local Montgomery business (many businesses here are either affected by the water main, or will be during construction), so give them your business and you won't be disappointed.

Golden West Restaurant has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the area. We came for lunch this time, and it was such a great choice. They have a really affordable lunch special with generous portions, so the value here is amazing.
We ordered the ginger beef, lemon chicken, spring rolls, noodles with beef, and mango pudding, and everything was delicious. The ginger beef was crispy on the outside and tender inside, with just the right balance of sweetness and ginger flavor. The lemon chicken was light and not greasy, and the lemon sauce was tangy and refreshing. The spring rolls were perfectly fried—crispy but not oily—and the filling was fresh and flavorful. The noodles with beef had a nice, light broth, and the beef was thinly sliced and tender. To finish, the mango pudding was creamy and not too sweet, with a strong, natural mango flavor.
I also want to give a special shout-out to Jane, our server. She was incredibly friendly and attentive. She explained the menu, made great recommendations, and checked in on us throughout the meal to make sure everything was okay. Her service really made the experience even more enjoyable.
The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and the lunch special makes it an excellent value for the quality of food you get. Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner with friends and family, Golden West is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back!

Ordered online at 3pm for a 6:30pm pick up. When we arrived, they couldn’t even find our order to begin with, and then told us to wait another hour and a half for our food. They wanted 5+ hours to prepare our food.
The girl at the front desk was also clueless and not sympathetic at all for the incompetence of this restaurant. Delivery drivers had been waiting over an hour.

This place is the best!! Anytime my boyfriend and I want Chinese food we go here, they have the best spring rolls, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and wonton soup. It is so flavourful. Their portions are huge and their prices are very reasonable. I would 100% recommend eating here if you want to enjoy some delicious food!
