Gong Cha Shawnessy

I’ve been to many Gong Cha locations in Calgary, but none have been as friendly as this one. Sarah, who took my order, was especially kind she carefully confirmed every detail of my order and kept smiling even when it was busy. All the other staff were cheerful too, which made waiting for my drink a genuinely pleasant experience.

Amazing bubble waffles. Amazing drinks. Amazon staff and amazing service. We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Gong Cha Shawnessy!

Wouldn't put mini pearls in my drink even though I've had it done at another location. Rude customer service. Will spend my money at the market mall location, way better service.

First time at this location and was not impressed. I got the pearl milk tea, and it was super watered down. The pearls were okay though.

I love gong cha but not this location. Twice I've been here and both times I've had to wait 15 mins for a simple milk tea. Today the girl that took my order decided to take 4 other people while I was waiting for my order, that would be fine except when I walked in, there were no customers except me.. she fiddled around until the others came in...horrible service. All the other locations are really great with service.

Love going here, especially since it's close to where I live. I usually get the same things; a dirty brown sugar or strawberry oreo smoothie, and it's always super good. The staff is super nice and I love the different topping varieties and customizations I can get, especially creme brulee and milk foam. And would highly recommend the Creme Brulee Croffle (croissant/waffle) or any of the croffles if you ever go here. It has easily become my favorite thing on the menu.
