Good Earth Coffeehouse - East Village

It's the worst coffee place no etiquette how to attend customers. Lack of empathy and would not recommend them at all going for coffee banff location is much better in terms of service. Don't ever go inside

Super cute café, had high hopes. Drink was terrible, vanilla syrup tasted just like sugar with no flavour. Barista was cold. Food selection looked old and dried out. Also said gluten friendly and only had 1 option that was touching the muffins beside it. Not expecting fully gluten free but it should be in a separate part regardless. Would not come again.

Great coffee shop! The cheddar broccoli soup was really good, and the coffee was delicious too. I went here to read and loved the calm, cozy atmosphere, it’s a perfect spot for studying or relaxing. The service was friendly and quick, and everything felt warm and welcoming. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

The atmosphere at Good Earth Coffeehouse is beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax, study, or just hang out. The food was delicious. I got a croissant that was so fluffy and tasty, and my girlfriend and I both had iced coffees. The coffee had a rich and bold flavor that was also really refreshing.

The staff were pretty chill and welcoming, which added to the comfortable vibe. Overall, this is a great spot to unwind and enjoy some good food and coffee. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in Calgary.

Arrived 20 minutes before closing… no coffee. No puppuccino. If you’re going to be open until 6pm, you should be serving the menu until 6pm. I checked the opening hours before coming… not pleased. Thanks for wasting my time.

Coffee shop was clean but both my daughter and I ordered chicken noodle soup and 2 drinks, strawberry oat latte frappe and a caramel latte, and we were both sick from that.
Bad soup or bad milk??

Absolutely wonderful! Love that there is mac & cheese on the menu along with a good variety of other food, everything tastes excellent!

Absolutely love how Good Earth operates — where else can you pay twice for the same order and get told it’s not their problem? Genius, really. I mean, most places would feel bad charging a customer $36 for a $16 order, especially when nothing was wasted. But not Good Earth — they boldly take the money and pass the blame to Uber.

Forget customer service. This is performance art. A masterclass in how to turn a small mistake into a complete ethical failure — and somehow act like you’re the victim. If you’re looking for coffee served with a side of moral bankruptcy, look no further. Good Earth delivers. Twice. And bills you for both.

Very disappointing experience at the Downtown Eastside location.
I went in today and asked politely to use the washroom, mentioning I’d make a purchase afterward. While I was using it, a staff member came and tried to open the door, saying another customer needed it—even though I was already inside.

I still went ahead to buy something, but she ignored me at the counter and was extremely rude. As I left, she yelled at me from the window. When I went back in to ask why, she started being verbally abusive and told me I’m no longer allowed there.

I’ve never had issues at other locations, but this kind of behavior from staff is unacceptable. Hope the management addresses this properly.

Great environment. Had a nice lemonade pineapple tea. Great!
