Goro + Gun

This is a great Japanese inspired restaurant and one of the better Concorde venues! Kitchen is extremely fast and efficient and food always comes out hot and fresh. Truly unmatched service standards as well, Braxton was my server and remembered my preferences and order from the last time I was there. All the servers are warm welcoming and friendly which just makes this such a great spot for a flawless lunch. Highly recommend for anyone :)

We had a wonderful meal at Goro+Gun! The calamari was perfectly crispy and chewy, with a sauce that paired beautifully. Both the California roll and the spicy salmon rolls were super fresh with generous portions.

The lamb ramen was a bit salty and not as spicy as I’d hoped, but still very tasty. My kids really enjoyed their tonkatsu ramen and paitan ramen. The portions were just right.

We finished with a taiyaki cake and gelato, which was the perfect end to our meal. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout. Highly recommend!

The steamed buns and gyoza were delicious, as was the selection of Japanese whisky. Andrew, our server was fantastic and very attentive. I will definitely have to plan more visits to this restaurant.

I specifically requested the table inside the restaurant- there were two options available 1. sushi bar 2. +15 and there was no option for the dining area when I booked the reservation so I chose +15 bc I thought sushi bar would put me in the "bar" area. I put a special request while booking that I need a seat inside the restaurant and not outside. when I got there, after 5 mins of arguing with me, they said there is no seating inside the restaurant and they "forgot" to read my note. no sorry or anything. when I get to the food, I ordered lamb ramen, the chopsticks were dirty and my ramen broth was cold which is unbelievable and unacceptable. very bad experience.

The food was only OK. We ordered from the happy hour menu, the tempura crisps for the Caesar salad was stale - inedible. The sashimi slices was way too thin. I understand it is only $5 for 3 slices, but maybe change it up to 2 slices for $5 dollars and have thicker slices. I've never had a piece of sashimi so thin. No complaints about the beef Tataki. The Ramen was decent, however a little too salty.

Happy hour is great, anime on TV ties it all together, friendly and fast service.

I invited my friend for a milestone birthday celebration. The sushi and sashimi were shockingly poor quality. They tasted old and rubbery. I would have gotten better, fresher quality by purchasing the takeout sushi at Co-op! This was shockingly bad and rather embarrassing. The server was good, not her fault!

Great service, I believe Drew was out lunch server Suggested a delicious mocktail. Had prawns and spicy tuna roll my friend had miso ramen. Delicious all around

I had the spicy Miso Ramen. It was delicious! I added an egg, which I recommend. The food comes out so fast which is ideal when you're on an hour lunch. All of their ramen is great. It's their service that makes a great experience. They are so helpful and friendly, making a hour lunch feel like you're at a high end restaurant. The chairs are comfortable and decor is beautiful, making a lunch feel really special.

The happy hour menu has so much choice to choose from and the portions were really very good. The staff were very attentive and efficient. We will be back .

Their vegan mushroom ramen is one of my favorite ramen in Calgary. So tasty! Their happy our options are great as well. Plenty of space to have a friend reunion. Kind service.
