Nice local pub with nice staff. Seems to be a great place for locals.

Let’s be honest: I don’t go to The Governor’s Pub for the pub. I go because Kylie works there.. and frankly, she runs the place (not officially, but spiritually). If she ever leaves, I’ll probably follow her like a loyal golden retriever with a pint.
Kylie isn’t just a server, she’s a wizard of drinks, a ninja of timing, and a therapist with a tray. She remembers my order better than I do, makes everyone feel like a regular, and somehow manages to do it all while smiling like she didn’t just serve 87 wings to a table of loud guys watching the Flames lose again.
If you’re looking for cold beer, warm service, and someone who could probably manage a small country if she weren’t so busy making your night better.. go see Kylie. Honestly, she deserves a raise, a crown, and maybe a statue out front.
Kinda racist server, our white friends didn't have to pay for their soda. But she made us pay for ours and our refills.
Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever had. It’s hard to write a review that’s negative for me but this time was just so incredibly bad. Nothing properly organized, auctioning off food to the entire bar because she didn’t know where it was going, multiple tables walked out from not even being acknowledged, exceptionally slow bartending skills. Overall just brutal. She tried to apologize but it was insane how many things were going wrong.
Takes quite a bit for me to leave a bad review as I like to give places the benefit of the doubt, however, the experience on my first ever visit to Governor’s was so brutal I had to write this out. We came in on Sunday around 4pm and sat for at least 20 minutes without even being acknowledged by the server. We finally decided to go up to the bar to order and she said she’d be right with us so we returned to our table. She did not come around so we had to go back up to the bar to finally order. We were trying to be sympathetic as she was the only staff member working in the front of house, but there truly wasn’t that many people in the bar to justify the nonexistent level of service we were receiving. We watched three separate tables sit unacknowledged for so long that they actually got up and left the bar. One of our friends ordered ghost pepper wings and he got salt and pepper instead. She did not come by once to quality check so instead of being able to get the right flavour that he ordered he just accepted the loss and ate them. He also ordered a double vodka soda and was brought a plain coke?? When ordering (up at the bar yet again) my third vodka Diet Coke I was given a rum and coke. She was nice, but in the most polite way I can say it, completely incompetent. Clearly this place needs to learn how to staff appropriately. Will not be returning.
Closed on Sundays..
Drove over at 1pm on Sunday and the door was locked.
Food is pretty good, wing Wednesday still 50cent.. homemade sauces hot peach is awesome especially mixed with suicide. Kyle and Tracy always make sure service is on

The waitress was extremely rude as soon as we walked in the door, not sure if she was having a bad day but learn to control it. Older lady, would expect more maturity and understanding on customer courtesy.I only stayed because my mother was too hungry to go elsewhere but this place has turned me off and we were regular customers. Sometimes an experience can ruin everything about the experience including the food. Just a complete waste of money.

The wings were average and service worse unfortunately. She seemed very uninterested in waiting on us and even scoffed at me when I asked for a water. Nice pub to hang out but not if you want to watch sports. Also make sure you ask for separate baskets for your wings unless you want them all in one.

Straight up pub with no airs and a welcoming atmosphere. Good place to drop in as a single and sidle up to the bar for a beer and whatever’s on special for lunch or supper.

Love this place, very "everyone knows your name". Love the free pool and the juke and the servers are bomb. Everyone mingles and has a really great time! Highly tecommend for a night out for casual convo with your people. It's a good time.

Appearances can be deceptive— pay no mind to the boarded up buildings that Governor’s shares a strip mall with, this is truly a “hidden gem” in every sense of the word. The food was shockingly good— I’m talking homemade chicken fingers, hand crafted beef dips, curated chicken wings, and so much more. Shoutout to Tracy for taking great care of us. Cheers, Governor’s!
