Truly, an exceptional experience for our party of 4. Dino is a gracious and friendly host. Each of our party had a different main, all of which were outstanding. Excellent risotto, pasta and tiramisu to die for.

We wanted to love this place and gave it another try after I poor experience. The service was poor. Hard to get water or anyone to your table. People did walk out while we were there. Went earlier on a Saturday; 6:15pm. Ordered bread. Sorry out of bread. Order the chicken. Sorry out. Oh and chicken was the special on the chalk board outside. Ended up having the steak after they suggested it. Three of four meals came out after a long wait, including my steak. I ordered medium rare, my dad medium so his had to be cooked longer hence the meal was not out with the first three. My steak was raw. After 15-20 minutes later my dad's steak came out... raw. There was an apology but no discount given. We live in the area but will never return. $180 for a meal well below par is not acceptable under any circumstances. Do not recommend.

Pasta and food here is no doubt amazing. The risotto was cooked al dente which I've never had it like this before - it was to die for!However, this restaurant was severely understaffed. Our reservation was for 7pm. We got our first food dish/Caprese salad at 7:54pm. My dish was not as advertised. I ordered the Risotto con Fruiti Di Mare which was supposed to come with Shrimp, Scallop, Mussels and featured fish. When my dish came out I only got the shrimp and scallop (as per the picture posted).The food here is reasonably priced and I would like to try this place out again.

We really enjoyed our dinner but especially since Deano, the owner, chatted with us throughout. The food is terrific but Deano's stories are a joy. It's nice to meet someone who is so invested in his business. This is our second time at the restaurant and we'll be sure to be back.

Food was amazing! No need to look at the menu, our server (who happened to be the owner) selected all of our courses including the wine. We're so glad he did. We'll be back soon.

Saturday night went out for dinner with good friends, telltale sign should of been establishment was not busy, as the restaurant next door was packed and a lineup waiting to get in. Ordered Focaccia bread, stale, was not eaten, charged 20 bucks for it, two plates, then i proceeded to order Special which was Chicken Gnocchi with pesto cream sauce, no pesto in it, gooey alfredo sauce instead, chicken overcooked, drinks were meh1 . Desserts were on menu, none available, only Tiramisu, average, not wonderful. Then when bill came overcharged 85.00 , said they can only fixed mistake next day??? I will never return, and i do not recommend!!
That absolute worst dinner and service we have ever had. No club soda, it took 20 minutes for a vodka soda because they sent someone to the grocery store for soda. Then our chicken came pink, very under cooked. Then no printed bill, they tried to just bring the debit machine with an amount for us to pay, very suspicious.

This is one of the hidden gems of 4th Street. Top tier in terms of quality, ambience, service and overall vibe. The owner spent 20 mins chatting with me about my experience and getting to know me.. The type of experience where you feel like you're part of one big Italian family. Must try 11/10 Thanks to Dino and the whole team for making this a top notch experience. Will definitely be back!

Delicious! Four of us decided to try Grande Amore. The gnocchi was the best I’ve ever had. The special was enjoyed by two of the other guests and the mushroom risotto was so flavorful and enjoyed by the fourth. We will definitely return to this great addition to the Mission neighborhood. Thank you to such a talented chef!

Over priced, have had much better Italian food. The dish pictures shown on open table doesn't exist anymore at the restaurant so it's misleading for folks like me who look at pictures and want to try signature dishes shown in the pictures advertised on open table. We were a group of 10 people and we all had the same opinion that this restaurant was overrated.

Perfect spot to have a delicious Italian meal as a couple or a group. Delicious bruschetta, followed by the best gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce. My partner had penne bolognese that he really enjoyed. We also shared a tiramisu that was light and delicious. Definitely recommend
Im surprised I haven't heard of this restaurant sooner. Everything here was a 10/10. Each dish is super fresh, you can tell the quality and care they put into everything. For sure one of the best pastas in the city. Dino gave us a very memorable experience. He was thoughtful, so fun to talk to, and all of his recommendations were fantastic. Thank you Dino for being so awesome and welcoming, we cannot wait to see you again and enjoy some more delicious and authentic Italian food.

We enjoyed dinner here recently and came away very satisfied. The people are lovely, friendly and welcoming. We shared a green salad followed by pollo supreme and gnocchi gargonzola with prawns, both delicious and all washed down with a lovely Barolo. Dessert was melt in your mouth goodness. We would definitely return.
