“I loveeee the lamb souvlaki here. It hits every craving. It doesn’t even taste like mall fast food. The pita is fluffy and chewy, the lamb is cooked to juicy perfection. Just enough fresh veggies. I can’t speak for anything else because that’s all I get, time and time again LOL. I’d post a photo if I didn’t scarf it down so fast each time. Obviously, it’s a stall at a mall food court so it’s not the best atmosphere but that’s not the point of eating here.“

The menu offers a great selection of Greek and Italian dishes, and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing.

The atmosphere inside is cozy, fun, and full of charm—bright colors, Greek décor, and a welcoming vibe that makes you feel at home. The service was also top-notch: warm, friendly, and attentive from start to finish.

“Both the gyro and lamb pita wraps were delicious and at a good value. The Opa! Platter, on the other hand, was quite a poor value as it consisted of mostly rice, salad, a tiny skewer of meat, and a pita cut into quarters. Strongly recommend the wraps but give the platter a miss.“

“If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. OPA at Deerfoot Meadows catered our recent family reunion. Jugveer was very responsive and able to accommodate all of my requests. The price was reasonable, the food was abundant and delicious ( thanks Jeffry) and was ready when requested. I would absolutely have them cater again.“

“I’ve been eating Opa for years and today’s chicken wrap was the best one I’ve ever had. The bread was perfect. Typically, the bread is kind of dry. Today, Saturday June 14th, the two guys working did a fantastic job. It makes me wonder if the times in the past, the bread was already made and just kind of reheated, giving it a drier texture. This time, the bread looked completely white, as if being cooked for the first time. I don’t live anywhere near this location, I just stopped here on my way out of Calgary. I’d go here instead of my typical A&W that’s close to home when leaving the city northbound after today’s experience. I didn’t catch the names of the two guys working this afternoon (2 pm) but wow, they did a great job and I hope they can see this review! Fantastic“

“Food was great and fresh. The resturant was clean and the staff members are really friendly and helpful it was my friends first time at opa and she had no clue what she wanted staff told her exactly what to get and she was really satisfied. Highly recommend this opa and will be returning soon.“

“I had a great experience at this place! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. My order was ready surprisingly fast, which I really appreciated. The fries were super crispy and delicious — definitely a highlight! The pita was fresh and tasty, and the salad was pretty good too. Overall, everything was well-prepared and flavorful. Veronica is amazing, she is friendly, always listens to exactly what you need and makes sure the service is fast and efficient. They are also very clean. I have only great things to say about the staff and food. I always look forward to getting to engage with the staff whenever I am getting food there.“
