Service was not great, 3 servers hanging around doing nothing, had to ask for second cup of coffee, really gone down hill since last time I was here.
My wife and I went to the buffet on valentines day without a reservation. They still fit us in at the lounge. Jil, our server was very busy but found the time to serve all the customers very well. I have been to the buffet many times and continues to be my go to when we go out to eat. Thanks for the great day.

This buffet may very well be the worst in the city; it's honestly the most disappointing experience I've had at a buffet. The selections are limited and the quality is subpar. They say you get what you pay for at $30, but I still believe that's too much for what they provide. After my awful experience, you'd have to pay me that $30 to consider returning, and even then, I doubt I would.
The scrambled eggs were overly runny and tasteless, while the pancakes were rock hard. There were no whipped cream or berry sauce toppings available. The seafood station had such an unpleasant smell that it completely turned me off. Not a single person in the dining room approached that station, and when it was mentioned to the host, she reacted defensively. Her response suggested that this wasn’t the first complaint about the terrible odor.
As for the desserts, they were quite lackluster—nothing memorable at all. They felt very generic, likely straight from a box from suppliers like GFS or Cisco. There was nothing unique about them; they were the same offerings you’d find at any hotel or casino buffet.
And don't even get me started on the service—it was practically nonexistent. The only interaction we had was with our host, who not only ignored our concerns about the seafood but was also quite rude. I can't comprehend how someone like that can be in a customer service position.
The room had the ambiance of a cafeteria, lacking any warmth or character. It felt like this buffet was hastily put together without any real care or consideration. When we visited, it was nearly empty, which should have been a warning sign.
Smugglers on Macleod offers a far superior brunch with much better selections and quality.
We went there for a dinner buffet the seafood salad was bad even the smell mentioned to the host she got so mad at us and stormed away with it. Later in the month we attempted the breakfast buffet very small and empty trays. Far not worth it the menu was better.
It has gone downhill from what it used to be

The fruit was old, specifically the melon and it tasted old and gross. It did not look good either. There was also chicken tenders and my grandmother said they were cold! Also the bacon was very hard and did not seem very fresh at all. The chicken was rough. They don't replace the food often enough that it gets old and you can taste and feel that in the texture. Idk how this place has such good reviews. You all need higher expectations in your food. Some of these concerns are food safety concerns. We told the staff about the bad fruit and they didn't seem concerned. The beef brisket was also not very warm and tough. The pieces were precut so you didn't get a fresh cut piece. Very disappointed. I'd say don't eat here unless you have to, and if you do, stay with the food that's in the warmers. The fresh made omelettes were the best thing here.
Dietary restrictions: Not much for people with gluten free and dairy free diets.

We went here for their weekday lunch buffet. There were no vegetarian options unless you count the salad bar which made up half of the buffet selection. Vegetarian options for hot food was limited to potatoes and steamed vegetables. It was sad. Even the pasta had shrimp in it.
Dessert selection was woefully inadequate. The only thing worth eating was the flan. They had these mini cupcakes which were ok but I had the misfortune of picking one with a lemon cake base that was incredibly dry. It was so dry it fell apart when I bit into it. It just…crumbled. I like my sweets so I've eaten a lot of cake and this was the driest piece of cake I've ever eaten in my life. A hotel restaurant should be able to bake decent cupcakes. Also the pecan tart tasted terrible. It was like the pecans were individually placed in the tart shell and the flavors never melded.
On the positive side, roast beef was quite juicy and there were beef, pork and shrimp dishes.
Service was attentive. I would give them 3 stars if not for the mediocre desserts and lack of vegetarian option. My vegetarian husband had to eat SHRIMP pasta because he couldn't just eat salad, potatoes and veggies.
If you're vegetarian, don't waste your hard earned cash here. If you eat meat, they do have plenty of options.

Went for the breakfast buffet. Very thin selection for the price. No bacon!! You have a choice of eggs, hash browns, sausage, tomatoes or pancakes. Melon, cottage cheese or yogurt. Choice of two cold cereals. Staff is very nice, the room is nice just not a lot of selection for a buffet breakfast.

Lunch buffet - Decent quality and tasty food. could have had a few more selections for the price (should have had a chicken or pork option instead of 3 different beef dishes) Also the bread (buns) offered were old/dry.
