Good atmosphere and dog friendly patio ?. We tried the seafood tacos and patacon pisao, which were really good. Our server Lily was great. Definitely will be back.

We ordered take out from this restaurant five times from September to October. The first 3 times the food was very good- we ordered tacos- brisket & chicken and donut type dessert. After that the beef was in thick slices very chewy very pale & did not even taste like beef at all. This time same thing BUT the chicken was also in slices & not shredded and chewy and tough and chewy causing me to almost throw up it was so different from the first 3 times. The sauce was like water and not the same either.Tacos are supposed to be shredded tasty meat like the false photos on here and their website. Upon calling they said sometimes they slice it. Not one photo online in their pictures shows it’s sliced. It’s all shredded.
It’s obvious they’re using much cheaper meat now and it tastes awful. The sauces are not the same at all. So much for having no dinner as we live far away. We will not be returning to this restaurant.and people should know their “brisket” which is so pale it looks like pork is rubbery and terrible now!! it could also be beef, tongue or eye of round by the texture and the colour . And the chicken is hit & miss. Shouldn’t a restaurant have consistency for $55 tacos? why do they slice it one time and shredded another time what is the reason for that if they’re using the same meat? ; ) Pics available on request.

We went to this place last Saturday night. The service was terrible. The chef was drinking alcohol in front of the customers, eating the fries, the waiters were chatting. We waited more than 40 minutes for our order to arrive. I really don't recommend it

Good happy hour prices but I wouldn’t recommend the food. Everything we had was very salty. Get a few coconut margaritas then go eat somewhere else.

Great food, friendly staff! Came here after an abysmal experience trying to order from class clown and being refused do to being too busy and no takeout possible. What a bright spot and a way to turn around the day! Definitely recommend!

Honestly used to love gringo street, their tacos are amazing, their drinks are bomb but recently the service has not been the best.
I went there for dinner with a friend last night, made a reservation through their website as I knew it would be busy on a Friday night but there was no table prepared. I would’ve been more than happy to wait but wasn’t really given the option as the hostess just got very short with me, stared blankly at me as I politely tried to explain that we just wanted to sit a table, not at the bar, and then said sure and threw us up at the bar anyways. I was disappointed but thanked her anyways and she just walked away without a word. The whole situation right from the jump just made me feel like I was an inconvenience and just not wanted there.
When my friend got there she also received a very stiff welcome, because the hostess just walked right past her and offered her no help or service either. I payed for my single drink and we decided to leave because again the atmosphere did not feel welcoming, although our actual server was super sweet and friendly. I payed, I tipped her, we were leaving and I find this hostess giving me dirty looks on top of it all. Felt very micro agression-y.
I had been there the week before and received this type of irritated and annoyed service from the same hostess and given her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she’s stressed, I don’t know, but it shouldn’t be an excuse to treat your customers that way. I have been in the industry for over 4 years so I am usually more understanding than most but I was just extremely disappointed.
Grabbed the Quesabirria taco at gringo street, a new menu addition is a must try. It was full of cheese and savoury birria. The mescal tacos on the other hand were just okay. I’d come back to try other things on the menu.
